We had good mics hooked up but nothing got recorded except from the cheap video recorder. I don't remember exactly what happened but we never turned them on.

Search for Piazzolla Histoire du Tango sheet music and you will get some useful hits. Maybe a music library at a music school would have it as well and save you money.

This is in print.. it's a french publisher, I think...orig for guitar and flute, but I think the violin is better- it's done with violin quite a bit. This is a fine, fun, relaxed performance by very good players who know the music very well. Bravo!

Thanks for the compliment. I am using Obligato all around now. I think that I had a Piastro Gold E though. Strings depend mostly on what your instrument needs. Many of the greatest instruments are equipped with Dominant and they are very reasonable as well. Good luck in finding the right match for you.

Anyway, I can put the original up just as well with no reverb. I used PeakPro and I believe Dreampoint's Freeverb3. Don't remember for sure.

My good friend Roger sent me this. As a musician myself I know the amount of work that would go into a piece like this. It sounds great. The talent that most people will never recognize simply abounds in this simple video. There is a looseness and fun side to the performance of some great and serious emotion. I LOVED THIS. I would by this performance on CD in a minute... start recording boys.
