I telephoned the OS company and they suggested 1 and a half turns for break in. I would have to agree with bearnesey in that it sounds like a little too much but with all the advice that i have received I realize now that every engine has its own special requirements and most importantly atmospheric conditions play a major factor in the correct break in and operation. Your flying looks outstanding. Alittle tweaking on the tail and this heli will provide years of enjoyment.
Thanks for your comments, but this isn't an OS engine. I have fitted a Thunder Tiger RedLine 53H engine. Which has different specs on the main needle. 3 turns out is the initial factory setting, then lean out as the engine is run in. I belive I am at 2 1/4 turns now. Cheers!
