Whenever I export the tracking data from Mocha and pasted it onto a Null object in After effects Cs4, the Null object does not have any tracked data in it. Is there something wrong that I've done? This is annoying as I have to keyframe manually which is extremely tedious for me...

I think he just took a snapshot of the sign board i.e a screen dump then tracked that picture of a sign board ontop of the real sign board, with probally a layer ontop of that of the characters that he wanted to move. So all together 2 layers, 1 of the sign board and 1 of the characters both being tracked with the background, which if they are individual characters i guess its easy to have them whizz about. Just my theory.

@elDreDas From what I've gathered, he motion tracked each sign and then put a solid of the same color over it, essentially blocking out the letters. After that, type each letter you want and animate them in 3d space.

@LIR401 he rendered the footage in psd format then in photoshop with the help of clone stamp and magic wand tool seperated the text frm background.. then in after effects he motion tracked the footage nd the replaced it.. using spot light he created the shadows.. nd animated the text.
