I recently bought the 1611 version of the bible. It still has a lot of scriptures in it that were removed through time. The 1611 version was one of the first English translations. If you can get down with the Old English, I'd strongly suggest it.

The Catholic Church created a book that best suited their purpose for dictating people's lives. Hi, If you're talking about the text, I read it in the Gospel of Bartholomew. It's not in the Bible, but can be found in other texts. You can probably get a copy at Amazon. The book that I have it in is called "The Other Bible" and is full of Gnostic and Apocrypha writings.
