I hear tell they are also good to magnetize errant children so as to stick em on a refrigerator and so keep em out of trouble. Good demo. Enjoyed it.
You can get these magnets in hard drives in your computer. Thats what they use to read and write information on the drive and to hold it steady from what I remember.

@ajaye111 There is no lever. My finger nails will not pick the magnet and grinder up. I had to have something to grab hold of the magnet to pick up the weight.
