this is a top model and i'm honestly glad i just got the SEL without myfordtouch, nav, and all that other BS that just makes your dash get fingerprints on it.
The more i listen to him the more i hate him, the point of the eco-boost 4 cylinder is for better fuel economy, but he downgrades it but complaining it doesn't come in AWD which in turn would make it less fuel efficient and ruining the point. it is an option for fuel-minded customers, not AWDrivers whole don't care about mpg.
@M1ntberryKrunch true. i also like how they say it doesnt have alot of power, its not used for drag racing people.. its 245hp is plenty for a 4 cylander that gets 30+ mpg..

We had one of these as a rental, personally i thought the noise was great, yet quiet when you wanted it to be... the power is great, leave's most things at the lights and when passing! Only problem is with so much acceleration you feel the front end lifting and the steering lighten, not great when you're after sporty driving...
Is it true that the edge V6 engine is that noisy? I am just curious. Because I read other reviews and they actually like the engine noise and strong acceleration. I can't wait to test drive one in the future.
@ijl05 Would not say that as I have had mine for nearly three months now and engine noise does not even figure in my list of worries. The only thing that does concern me is the braking because it is well below the standard of my VW Touareg. I would not be comfortable speeding in a mildly congested area, knowing that the brakes somehow feel disproportionately incapacitated in relation to the car's weight. Otherwise, it is a pleasure to drive and the interior is a far cry from other American cars.
