I swear Hans Zimmer is a musical genius. This is truly the embodiment of Sherlock Holmes in song. It keeps the time period style feeling authentic but also keeps the mood of the movie. Along with that, as composed for a movie, it does not overcome the movie, but it's presence is omnipotent through the movie. Truly the definition of spectacular.

Constantly moving, Addiction, very interesting way of solving a case

known for his martial arts also very witty and rude

I've read many of the books and learned that Holmes was all of the above

The only thing I found wrong was his size but RDJ lost enough weight for the part if you ask me. We wouldn't want him to get sick...

Yes, Jeremy Brett was a very good Holmes but this indeed was a very good movie it self I guess its just opinion and I can't change yours. But maybe check it out again after reading some of the books. The one problem people have said was the comedy of the movie not realizing that Holmes had his own kind of humor.

Good movie, but really shouldn't have been called Sherlock Holmes. Really has NOTHING to do with the books. For a good Sherlock Holmes movie, I look for the ones released in Soviet Russia (Thank God I can understand Russian!), really awesome films. Still, this is one really enjoyable film... When I can forget that these people are supposed to be Sherlock Holmes, Esquire and Doctor Watson.
