wbo has smith ranked #4. maybe instead of defending this commonwealth title against dodson in march, why doesn't he just try challenge steiglitz for the wbo? wouldn't the wbo title carry more weight as far as getting big fights than the commonwealth title?

to be honest im not sure smith is good enough to beat stieglitz who's the weakest of the super-middleweight champions.

any title shot would be better than the guys he's fighting right now. steiglitz is a good puncher with decent skills, but very hittable, stopped twice and dropped in at least 4 or 5 fights. smith could definately land and maybe drop him with the right set up. no disrepspect to stieglitz, but not only is that belt closest for smith to contend for, but stieglitz is not in the same boxing class as andre ward or bute, not as durable as froch. smith may not be up to the task, but he has a shot
