One of the most emotional, electric, & well done Docs I've ever had the pleasure to watch.
Ayrton was an amazing man, with such fire for competition, & compassion for the human spirit. If you already don't know- there has never been & most likely will never be another with the same qualities, what a gift to the Racing community. Many great ones before him & after, but there will only be one AYRTON! Rest In Paradise...We all Miss you
Love the last few seconds of this where it shows Senna nose to nose with another competitor, foot through the floor, and he looks over to his right. Pure love for the fight. What a competitor, and what a great man.
@22astonmartin :Thanks for the heads up. I've watched this twice already on NF. Amazing, and very moving film. Almost as amazing as Senna's ability to wheel a car.
@TheGrouchOnTheCouch glad you enjoyed it - it's a shame it didn't get nominated for an Oscar, as it won numerous other well deserved awards in the US and in other countries. That's Hollywood politics for you! Ayrton's even battling them there...
God created sundays so he can watch Senna driving, not being enough, Senna died so he could be in His team, thats why when you hear a thunder on a Stormy Sunday its Senna racing in Heavens!
Senna has been something of unique and unrepeatable....FIA was already then moving to increase the safety of the cars, sadly they took the most important decisions when it was too late.
Just found out that the Enzian Theater in Orlando booked the film for 2 weeks in September. If you're in Central Florida, you need to get here and watch this film. It's going to be amazing!
@StepOSX, I'd only seen a couple F1 races before the Imola race, and just happened to find the race while flipping channels, only a few minutes after his crash. I knew something was extremely serious from the announcers, like this was something unthinkable.
I remember watching the race live from Imola and when the accident occurred at Tamburello I looked at my wife and said, "I would be surprised if he survives." A very sad day.
Arguably one of the very best, if not the best F1 driver in history. The 3-time World F1 Champion was an enigmatic and polarizing figure in the racing world- he captured the very essence of motor racing. The Passion, the Danger and the Glory. Millions and millions of men and women worshiped this very skillful and yet sometimes arrogant man, work his magic behind the wheel of some of the most sophisticated and fastest machinery in the world. S E N N A.

I cried watching the trailer. I'm french, fan of Prost of course, and was hating Senna when I was a kid but always knew how talented he was.
This trailer remembered me how I loved spent every two sunday with my father watching F1. This era is definitely dead, and so is F1.
