i have readed some reactions here and i have talked with an imam, he said instruments are indeed haram, except that make the "duff" sound. that's because first the wispering instruments like the piano and strike instruments are the language of the sheitan!! the duff sounds make the sheitan afraid that's why it is not haram, even for nasheed songs, only duff sounds may be used.
