It is not a pig. No living things were used in any of our videos. We will probably do a series of videos showing how to create realistic injuries so you all can see how we do it.
Thanks for all the info that you put out. Its very helpful. Just an FYI, we have used the rapper for the chest seal under fire and just taped the hell out of it, and it has worked better and healed better then the chest seal has... Its a lil faster and sticks a lil better...

Can I suggest that you emphasize progressive dyspnea as a primary sx of a developing tension pneumo? I've repeatedly seen is as a much earlier indicator then JVD, changes in chest rise and such.
That was really cool! We learned to put non-occlusive dressing on and only tape 3 sides of it, that was really interesting though, nice job

The lung is collapsed. The bubbles would be coming from air being forced in and out of the pleural cavity.

Those ACS are cool (wish I had some lol) we just seal the wound and open a corner every now and then to let the air out
