  • a home theater at my home with projector and 120'' screen is my dream

  • great review great reviewer

  • Nice review

    What size is that screen?

  • You really have the skills for keynotes and reviews ;)

  • @MacFan1992 Disagree. Too scripted. I feel like I'm being sold something.

  • @huckfinnaafb lol not if u dont think of it that way.

  • Agorante, Black levels are one of the most important aspects of a video display, everything builds upon them. Reviewers rarely talk about white levels as the eye takes the closest thing to white in front of it and takes that as reference white. The eye is very good at distinguishing black from grey, however.

  • Feierman is a consciensious and fair minded reviewer but he does have a couple biases. He prefers projectors with excellent "blacks" over those that do best on bright scenes. To the general public this sounds crazy but it's true. So he shows a lot of SciFi movie star scenes in his reviews. And he personally owns a JVC (King of the Black Levels).

However this new Mits projector is the kind of machine he usually doesn't praise - so it must be good. I think I'll buy one.

  • Great HT 1080p projector. Great blacks and heaps of light to fill a large 120" 16x9 screen. Murray Thompson RapalloAV NZ
