I'm sorry, but it's the drummer that does the work - not the kit.. Electronic or Acoustic, it makes no difference. I must admit though, you're reference to me 'letting the computer do the work' made me laugh out loud.. haha :)

yes true but still u get more experience with real drums :) not just thin pads that can easly be broken for 1 wat happens if the elecricity goes out when ur using em for something important wat u gonna do ? with real drums u can play them with no electricity

that's an electric drumkit, its basically rubber pads that u hit like normal but u can change the sounds to lots of different stuff

with electric drums its harder to get a double bass for 1 (i should know i have 1 =p)

but u have to buy a whole new bass drum pad as well as a new bass pedal because a double bass pedal wont fit on the electric pad

plus it messes up the sound a bit too
