Chaos Dwarf Conversion - Part 4

Good job converting, but imo these aren't Chaos Dwarfs. They need the mighty helms of Hashut. They are also supposed to have tusks "Tjub" on the website you posted (in the picture gallery if others are wondering) got it right. Doing it like this makes them look like short Chaos Warriors.

The only problem I can see with it is the fact that they look more like "chaosy dwarfs", rather than chaos dwarfs if you know what I mean? Like they're dwarfs wearing chaos armour and weapons. Even though they are their own race with their own philosiphies and cultures.

That said, it's still some awesome work, keep it up :D!

a popular color is bronze or gold.

Use the GW paint Tin Bitz and dwarf bronze.

I would put some green stuff around the spot where you connected the hilt of the axe to the blade. Turn it into a ring or a bolt or something to cover up the crack.

I'd ask around your local shop for anyone who has extra Chaos bits first. Failing that, than buy a kit that you think will have the bits that you need. It's all subject to taste, really.

I got it from an old plastic Chaos Warriors boxed set. But the same sprue was available in old Chaos Marine boxes too. There might still be some of those kicking around if you look hard enough.

I would REALLY love to be able to field a fantastic looking Dark Dwarf Army. To me, Chaos Dwarfs are actually just Dark Dwarfs with a different way of thinking to normal dwarfs. They are not 'chaos', just misunderstood... LOL!

The true name of the Chaos Dwarfs is Dawi'Zharr. WHich translates to Dwarfs of the Place of Fire. Which is a reference to where they live. :)
