@marmacman Keiichi Tsuchiya is driving a car that can only do powerslide, not proper drift. Give him the NSX and he will be king in the video. Bear in mind that Tsuchiya-san holds the downhill time record for Mt Usui in an NSX Type S.

Although I am no professional myself, this driver doesn't really seem all that good. He is constantly "stabbing" at the gas and brakes with no finesse at all. Does he not know that you can hit the gas and or brakes with anywhere BETWEEN 0% and 100%? There are a few times where you can see his foot almost undecidedly flicking back and forth between the two pedals of the Ferrari.

I've talked to several people that track their NSXs and I almost invariably hear that it's "tricky" and has bad snap over-steer if you're not careful. Not saying it's a bad car, I'm sure the F430 is very tricky as well, but what they're comparing here is a stripped out NSXR vs a luxurious F430. You have to keep in mind while the NSXR looks graceful here, it's being driven by an *expert* driver and is actually a bit of a handful. Also, were that a Scuderia the NSXR would stand no chance.

NSX has less power, it has a great chassis and the R version is just killer...The F430 is great on ideal surfaces, on bumps and road-cambers it is very difficult to push close to the limit. On road even higly underpowerd cars can make wonders due to their better handling...and their forgiviness at the limit...Supercars have amazing performance but need to be tamed at will to use it...and on twisty roads a Ferrari is just too extreme [on track it will feel at home however]..

i know that the nsx-R can beat the 360 modena at nürburgring and hockenheim but this was very close i think the 430 is to fast for the nsx. Only on a Racetrack with a lot ov curves the nsx pherhabs will have a change.

NSX for me is the perfectest looking car since 20 years . i dont know any other car that is so emotional to me and thats why it dont matter to me that it only use an v6 and 280 hp. And what makes the nsx really fast are the Bridegstone RE070.

This tyres is only used on the nsx-R and the Subaru Impreza . Also Mugen use it for there last Civic TYpe-RR advanged Projekt .

@everybodylovesps3 Your wrong, I own an Acura NSX, and have been a fan of the NSX for ages. I can tell you that there are a lot of cars (espiecally today) that can beat the NSX on most tracks. Don't get me wrong the NSX-R is an amazing car and can run with cars with almost twice the HP. I love the NSX but I won't make it out to be better than it actually is.

F430 is overall better, it's newer and newer technology, but you cant compare those cars because it is not in the same league. You can compare F348 and F355 witch are not better than NSX-R-overall. F430 Scuderia is forced induction race car. Try against NSX GT1 or HSV-010.
