  • Riding a horse ain't a sport, it don't need no helmet. It should be a natural thing for all of us, but we lost sight of this because of the 20 century. There was a time in our history where riding was the way to get around. We have only started to get off the horse and into a car less then 90 years ago. Before that it was always a horse.

  • Thank u

  • iWhen you get on your horse bucs it how do you stop it and when do you apply presher and when not to?

  • i love your horse it very buttyful where did you get him or her?

  • im too much of a stiffy to get on without a block lol x

  • @fancy144 get your horse in a round pin, (works better bareback, that way he doesnt have to run when he has a saddle on.), then try to get on him, if he moves, make him run, only let him run the way you want him to go. Then when he is running, if he turns and comes towards you, pet him a little, and see if he follows you. If he does try to get on him if he doesnt make him run. Keep doing that until he realizes he has work until he lets you get on him! Hope that helped Posting vids soon!Subscribe

  • beautiful horse!!

  • @karah0bug I know what its called...but im just saying how I like to do it! I know some horses that I ride, whcih arent mine, my trainers tell me not to cause it hurts them! So I just do waht I am told and waht I please

  • When I mount, I hold the reins and the horn because I have a better feeling about not loosing balance! Plus I dont wantto hurt the horse by pulling her hair

  • @CourtneyLynnCullins : it's called a mane... and horse can feel no pain at all when you pull it... its not like human hair u can tug on it all u want it wont hurt him/her at all

  • i dont hold the reins or the mane when i get on. i dont want to hurt the horse. i hod the saddle horn and get on

  • GREAT ADVICE "horses move away from pressure"

  • I love horses! And I like this video!

  • hold the reins a little tighter and grab the mane at the withers to help steady the horse and provide balance

  • @paulsmom77 I don't think I'd be teaching people that...they might learn that being heavy on the hands is the only way to balance themselves on a horse. Try and learn to ride without hands...like having someone lunge your horse while you ride. And I'm not sure how holding the horses mane will steady the horse...

  • What a beautiful horse. Great tips. Great video.

  • very beautiful horse i love her color, variations and the white is sooo solid beautiful simply beautiful

  • I don't plan to get one because i don't have enough money but im going to pigeon forge,tn sat.and going horse back riding gonna be funn

  • Great advice! I could really use it on one of my horses! Thanks!

  • About how tall would you say this horse is in hh? Just wondering. I mean, I understand that this will be hard to tell since we don't know the woman's height, but I'm just trying to get a better general idea of how to measurse/guess a horse's height through quick observation.

Yes, I know a bit off topic, but whatever... lol :)

  • That's a beautiful Paint!

  • I am 26 and just started riding feel like I have a lot to learn and recomended sources?

  • thx mcandee

  • Yesterday i just got a horse (: shes my second :)

  • I just started riding at 11 yrs !!Can i ask a question...how to cantering

  • @nataliedavies18973

okay you put pressure / kick your outside leg and either cluck or kick and you will get them going, or at least thats how i learned

  • @nataliedavies18973 Start slow, there's no rush. Definitely take lessons and you can slowly work your way up to cantering once walk, trot, and lope are mastered.

  • I just started riding at 11 yrs !!Can i ask a question...how to cantering

  • Hi I don't know about horses but why dont you use spurrs to get your horse to move because I saw on PBR they users spurs and these shocking things to get the horse to move.

  • @sohcsarewicked Some people do but at my place we think its cruel we want the best for our horses, so we just say walk on and cluck

  • @Horseloverrxoxo2 Thats pretty cool of you to be nice :) Check out the horse video called "CELEBRATION OF FREEDOM AND FAMILY, PART 1" Please.

  • @sohcsarewicked It's not cruel if used properly. Even the safest of equipment if used wrong can hurt a horse. A lot of horses don't need spurs and will move fine with leg pressure.

  • after have been riding for over 2 years.. 4 weeks ago I FINALLY GOT A HORSE!!!

  • @horsesforever44

I've been riding 7 years and I still don't have one. I hope you realize just how lucky you are. :)

  • @horsesforever44 my mom is letting me take lesson and if i do go I GET MY OWN HORSE :D

  • I might get a horse so excited!!!:)

  • My horse moves away befor I even put my fist foot in the sturrup. It takes me forever to mount because she will turn or move forward! She never used to do that. Can somebody help and tell me why she does that?

  • How do you prevent them from jumping???

  • Aw. Pretty paint. =]

  • it would be great if all stables had mounting blocks of some sort

  • i stop my horse from moving round by standing in front of him, cuz he wouldnt dare step on me haha then a use both reins from the front to back him up, and quickly mount up. haha i hav fell offf mannyy times, if u rny doind advanced enough things. wheres the fun if there isnt any risk??? :) luv olivia and wiggle

  • oo i just wanna get on and ride for hurs :)

  • i cant wait until i move to texas my mom says she might get me a horse

  • @NeruNeruProductions I live in Texas ur gonna LOVE it! :D

  • @NeruNeruProductions OMG! JEALOUS your so lucky

  • @NeruNeruProductions A revolver too? hehe just kidding ^_^ enjoy!!

  • @NeruNeruProductions Texas dosent have countrys i used 2 live there before

  • @NeruNeruProductions Awesome! but you can't just suddenly buy a horse you need to have experience and all the things you and the horse needs

  • @NeruNeruProductions Did you get one?

  • What a beautiful animal ! Wish I had a little land..

  • You can always board a horse near you!

  • Cela a rafraîchi ma mémoire aussi. Je n'ai pas tombé d'un cheval depuis que j'ai commencé à monter, mais je suis sûr que j'aurai à le experiance plus tard.

  • im a gr8 rider i fell off 3 times lol

  • they say you have to fall more than 7 times to be a good horse rider

  • thanks that has refreshed my memory abit.

i am going horseriding tommorow so i just wnted to refresh my memory

    Thank you

  • Another learning vid shows to take the horn and not the back of the sattle to mount the horse.

I think everybody should finds his own way.

  • How do u stop them from moving around?

  • im mexican the way we do it is pull the string back and say oh but not to back or itll jump up

  • the strings are called reins -.-

  • you cant stop them by pulling the reins back @Fancy144

  • @Fancy144

    @Fancy144,

You need to tell them whose boss. If you are walking them, hold they're halter or Reins, and if they're swaying they're head, hold it, and sternly say: ex. "Chilly, no." If you are riding them, you need to say:"No, Chilly!" And you need to hold the reins steady, and tell them were you wanna go.

    I hope this helps!

    BrighROX

  • @Fancy144 pull back on the reins and say wo wo but make sure to pull back towards your chest not your face and make sure your reins and even on both sides

  • @Fancy144 What do you mean by moving around? If you mean when you're riding it, then you pull both reigns to stop them

  • @Fancy144 You can either pull back on the raines or you can say loudly WOAH" or "Woah" i own my own horses so i know lots

  • @Fancy144 Clinton Anderson has a brill vid on here for stopping them from moving while you're mounting.

  • @Fancy144 Say very loudly "WOAH" so just say "WOAH" It will stop the horse or give a kinda light kinda hard tug on the reins and they will stop. I know this because i own a lot or horses! hope this helps ps check my channel up for horse videos etc

  • @Fancy144 not sure if this works but, once you get on any horse don't just start right away. once you get on pet them and say good boy/girl wait a minute or something. because if you get on a horse and then start right away everytime it'll think "kk time to go, LES DO THIS!" lol :D hope it helps xo

  • @Fancy144 let someone give him treat or pour some sweets on the ground so he/she is busy.
