Really it is played too fast. This interpretation is not an european interpretation. The most american culture contributions are degenerated.

Thank you. I agree ,Probably faster than a lot of recordings. I decided to record it at this speed because I like it at this speed. You can play it slower if you want too. I don't mind. It is a european interpretation (by default} And close to Bach's interoperation and own playing.

There are some very very fine american musicians.

But maybe you haven't heard them.

This is my favorite of the Schubler Chorales. The first time I heard was while sitting in the choir stalls under the pipes in Washington National Cathedral many years ago when I went with a group of friends to listen to a local organist who was invited to play in Washington.

that organ has an unbelievably realistic sound! LOVE IT! I may be getting a Rembrandt organ so I am trying to get an idea what it will sound like!
