  • Personally I think a 6-line needs a bigger tank bc they swim around so much,

  • stunning, is that an odysea lighting system? if so, hows it working for ya? cuz ive gotten bad reviews on their stuff, which is why i havnt bought from them, but the prices are tempting

  • @austinpetemo I just bought one and did a review on it if you are still interested. It works really well so far!

  • 6lines are cool check mine out

  • Amazing coralline coverage. Where did you get the rock?

  • haha i got a 24 inch 65 watt odyssea light for my 10 galon on ebay for 27 bucks plus 13 shipping.

  • i ordered the same one yesterday!! did yoy get it yet?!

  • no i was just going to order it yesterday but im thinking of the 96 watt one now that the same seller sells.

  • ooo ok i would probly do that to bu ti dont got the extra money and dont plan on keeping any high ligh corals anyway :)

  • yea i will probably buy the 65 watt one

  • @Snickoys I run 103 watt pc's with a 20 watt actinic

  • dude that is beast so could i get some damsels and some blennys and make a 10gallon coral reef?

  • no. for one avoid damsels at all costs, and second only one blenny per about 75/100gallons.

you should focus more on getting a tank, lights, heater, etc... then livestock.

  • Bad ass tank dude ur lucky

All I got is a piece of crap 10 gallon freshwater tank with 2 oscars

  • maybe it wouldn't be a piece of crap if there weren't 2 OSACRS IN IT

  • @Ambriz150122559 dude you need 50 gallons for just one oscar your horrible and fish if you have them both in a 10 gal

  • how much was your light

  • you can buy the 18" nova extreme off of amazon for 50$

  • What song is this? Nice tank

  • what temp is ur tank, how many watts of light dou have?, what chemicals do you use?, do you use reverse osmosis water?

  • mow mutch would a 10 gallon tank cost all to geather nice fish

  • probably 250 i have one

  • lol $250...lol....not for a reef....descent light-80-150 protein skimmer 30-50, filter 40-60 ..live rock (9.99 lb)....corals

  • Light 100$ Protien skimmer 50$ Pump 40$+ Live rock 25$+ fish 15-20 Hey ya thats about 210 buddy

  • lots. Plus, it's addicting.

  • what is a cheap but good bran for a protein skimmer? Aslo do u have any websites for them?

  • Hi, i noticed that u have aquafuge from CPR. does the protein skimmer that it come with make a lot of noise compared to a tunze nano. Please tell me. i am interested in buying one but not sure whether is noise would bother me for CPR Aquafuge PS

    Thanks

  • It is a great and very quiet skimmer. You won't be dissapointed. You're welcome.

  • what kind of fish are in their ?

  • A six line wrasse.

  • nice tank

  • how much would a set up like that cost....P.S. I already have the tank, and lid.....I just need the insides???

    Thanks

  • Not much, somewhere around 7500.00 dollars...Just kidding. I don't really know. I did not bought everything at the same time. I'd say 800.00 ( includes refugium)if you go brand new, 400-500.00 if you choose used equipments.

You need filter, lights, powerheads, protein skimmer etc..(the estimated price includes)+ live rock, sand, corals, invertebrates. Another 400-500 easy. Or you can find not too old used corals on eBay. It was another joke.

    You're welcome!

  • well im gettin a 10 galon too. and its gonna be like 40 dollars

  • dont spend money on live sand it'll cost u alot....many people dont know this but the "live sand" isnt really alive...all u need is dead sand live rock and ur set...and a heater of course but thats all u need for starter...then later on u can add your powerheads or wavemakers and ur corals and fish...nothing to it....just make friends that love fish around u and u can get alot of stuff for free like me..i go free false percula clowns, anenome live rock, filter, heater, all for free...

  • all i bought was dead sand for my tank which was like um 10 dollars.....not to mention i got free lighting for my tank too...cool right...and i can get free corals anytime i want...another advice is that u should make friends with ur asain petstore owner....then u can deal with the prices and get lower prices on the fish....i went with my cousin and he bargain with the dude...he got a 50 dollar fish for 15 dollars..."ANGEL FISH"

  • hello, VERY NICE. I will be starting my first reef. Do you have a sump or just the HOB Aquafuge ??

    Thanks,

  • Thank you very much!

I have a medium size ( 19")HOB refugium, with deep sand, caulerpa and chateo macros, and some live rock. Great netural denitrator, and very beneficial copepod provider. I also have a Marineland C-160 canister with Chemi-pure carbons. 3 small powerheads. 900 G/Hr circulation/movement, 78-80 F, no chiller.

    Good luck to your project!

  • where u get ur lighting from...her "hood" to be exact...? please reply thank you

  • Off eBay.

  • thanks it looks really nice

  • dude, this thing looks sick! (in a good way)

may i ask what lighting your using. im setting up a ten gallon also and need ideas.

  • Thanx my man! On this video I've had a Dual Satellite by Current. 2x40Watts. I dual daylight ( 10K/65K ), and one dual actinic (420nm/460nm/ bulbs. About a month ago I upgrade my system with a metal halide. Now it is a real sick lookin' tank:-) I'll put up a video soon.

When set up a nano you have to pay even more attention to the 2 rules of thumb : 1. water flow, 2. water changes. These are the most important things to keep a successful nano, IMO

BTW, what kind of metal halides do u have?

  • i dont have metal halides for my ten gallon im setting up, but on my 58 gallon, i have a 400 watt retro fit. i would go for MH on my ten gallon, but i want it to be low budget, and i had some PC's laying around. i may upgrade to T5 HO in the future though.

  • Yeah, I meant your 58 G, because I checked your videos, and I noticed that you might have metal halides, that's why I asked.

I think retro fits are the best, but the bulbs means a lot too. My favorite brand is Reeflux, very nice combination of white/blue.

T5's are almost as nice as MHs.

Good luck to your project, and don't bother to drop me an email if you have any questions..

  • alright ma. thanks. my ten gallon is cycling. i really want to keep clams, and i have a niger in the 58 gallon, so i dont really trust him with clams. lol

  • Wow!

    Lovely tank, fantastic looking corals.

Can i ask do you use your powerhead just to keep surface moving or do you have another for the corals and underwater flow?

    Nice coralline algae too!

  • Thank you for the kind words!

I use the canisters intake and a Koralia-nano for surface agitation, and a mini Rio powerhead ( with a Hydor 360 rotating head )for water movement. I also have a HOB refugium with built in skimmer.

    YEAH, CORALLINE RULES:-)

  • HOW DO U STACK THE ROCKS

  • Few plastic sticks screwed into the rocks.
