BKcotton i agree with you. In the giants game, any idiot could have seen the plays eli manning ran. He's not peyton at all. He audibled a play called "Omaha" a few times. Each time it was a slant pass to 87. And when they went into shotgun with a singleback, they ran it. This happened atleast 7 times and they just didn't think. Jake had a horrible game against 'zona. Now is the time for Matt Moore to step in. Great run game. Solid d. Time to breed a QB.

In Super Bowl 38 against the patriots retarded john kasay kicked the ball out of bounds on the last drive to set up the pats win. Then he tanks the Field goal against the giants that would of given them the number 1 seed. So before you crucify Jake, crucify John too

before blaming kasay for sb38 and the giants game, let's pass some of that blame towards the defense. in both games, the panthers offense scored more than enough points to win, but the defense couldn't do it's job (and the panthers are supposed to have be a defensive football team). blaming john kasay for both loses is not fair to kasay, who has kicked clutch fg after clutch fg in his career.

look, it was one bad game that just happened to come in the playoffs. you say that we will never win it with him, but without him this year, the panthers finish last in the nfc south and john fox is fired. don't forget that jake engineered 5 4th quarter comebacks this season, all of which would be losses with either mccown or matt moore. you have to look at the body of work, not just one game.

what a disappointing way to end the season. i refused to come on here and post something out of emotion right after the game, but what a way to go. jake delhomme was horrible, but so was everything else. the coaches schemed a terrible game plan, the secondary couldn't cover, the panthers abandoned the run game way too early on, etc.

p.s. i know he's the most hated man in charlotte right now, but jake deserves another shot next season.

as i stated in my blog, the offense in carolina will score enough points to win 3 games. the problem looks like the defense, who have looked very soft late in games. if the defense can get their stuff together, then the panthers will be super bowl champs.

I heard the Bucs used to be a joke because of their pale orange and white uniforms. Apparently they looked like little popsicles to the other team. So colors do matter. But I think the Panthers' colors are ok. They may not be the coolest colors in the league, but at least they aren't popsicles!

Personally, I'd like to see silver pants with the black shirts. But the Raiders already sued about the black/silver scheme so I doubt that'll happen. Who knew raider = whiner?

love it. the music went perfect, it described our season, started off strong going 2-1 then the sad and dissapointing music and part came. then the offseason has been great. we are finally set at wr!! we have 2 great wrs and 1 amazing wr. delhomme should be back and peppers will have a better season. with terrance holt with chris harris should be a good mixture of safties. and if we dnt sign mike rucker again then we will more then likely draft DE from florida. they say he gets better everday!
