dddevin69. As far as Cord, they have to strectch things out for dramatic and timing pruposes. Remember, this was all leading up to DiDi and Patrick's electrocution, which was a Friday cliffhanger. Also, Patrick would have no reason to handcuff DiDI in the car. She wasn't likely to try anything in a moving car when it might cause an accident and he had a gun nearby anyway.
It was not bad acting. This was considered the golden age of soap operas and I remember this as one of my favorite storylines of the time. Robert S. woods rocked playing Good Bo/bad Bo! Over the top acting is all part of the fun of the soaps! And I remember this was where I fisrst took notice of Roma Downey. Even then I thought she was gorgeous and new she was going to be famous!
