Steve B still makes freestylemusic. Also: "The Officer & Elios", "Johnny O". There are also new artists like Joe Zangie. He released his last Album in 2007 (you can watch his videos here on Youtube). Freestyle isn't dead. You only can't buy it in stores because the demand of this kind of music isn't very high. You habe to order the on Amazon, Apollo Music or ZYX. Or you can download them on musicload.

Dude, don't take this the wrong way, but I'm sick of hearing that shit! I used to dance w/my friend's, as well as DJ back throughout the 90's, and yeah, it was cool, but times change, and you need to change with them. Here in New York, freestyle eventually turned into something known as "Trance", which is THE best club music out there today. Freestyle will always be apart of my life, but times have changed, and for the better. Tiesto, Micro and them simply took it to the next level. Peace. ;)

Mixing was a talent back then that did not use computers or sampling machines. You had a mixer and two technics 1200 turntables maybe a beat box.....if you were lucky. Today its HI tech... No talent required or hearing for that matter.
