First win for Hellner

We can't all be machines like cologna, iron men like bauer, or superheroewlikes northug. So It is really fun to see someone go all out, from wire to wire, to try and win it anyway. Didn't work for hellner in the 15K in vancouver. Sure did in the wc holmenkollen sprint.  Inspiring.

It appears Hellner pulled on Northug's pole in the race on Saturday. Could he lose the gold?

No, Hellner will not lose the gold. The pictures shows that Hellner is holding on to Northug's left pole, but it was not this episode that broke Northug's pole, because he broke his right pole.. Hellner said that it was his fault that the pole broke, but it was not on purpose. Something like that can happend to everybody.. TV pictures doesn't show what happend to Northugs right pole....

Hellner held the pole at 1:11:11 in the race. So that is legal? He was not in a dangerous area and held to prevent a crash, it looks as though he was just hitching a ride and also slowing Northug down (not to mention annoying him). If it was legal you'd think it would happen all the time. The video is no longer on youtube.

Hellner told the norwegian press that he grabbed Northug's pole and pushed forward, so he could prevent the crash but it didn't work. Northug came in front of him, and Hellner couldn't stop so he drove over Northug's pole. It was an accident. Northug told the press that he know that Hellner didn't do it on purpose.

Sweden got an awsome chans in OS now on sprint they got. EMIL JONSSOn AnD Bjorn LinD or Theoder petterson! And on long distance they got hellner, johan olsson, daniel rickardsson and jesper modin!
