Even if they all truly wanted to kick him, you're not supposed to do it to someone who has your Raid ID. It gives them the incentive to go ahead and steal it. They really had no purpose to kick him anyway (from what we know). They got what they deserved.

The point those officers were trying to make is that you screwed over the other members with that raid ID now they cant do that boss and well they will be pretty pissed so instead of kicking the people that were willing to stick it out and help the guild progress they kicked the guys that couldnt stand wipeing.

The level of skill in the guild is irrelevant. You didn't want in the guild after your friend was gone, anyway. And the guild was looking for close-knit members to avoid random chances with PUGS. Both obviously had different goals. As a guild leader myself, I admit not everyone can become my close friends, those people come and go. Don't fool yourself thinking that you're the reason why they left the server, despite the 'whispers'.

I liked the story. I can't really judge because I've had to suck the fuck up with a lot of failsauce organized PvE stuff, and you can only be so patient. It shouldn't have to take 7 wipes on KT or 11 on Malygos to know what you need to do(whether the overall gear standard or better, knowing the encounters).

In about Jan-Feb '09, I had serious progression issues with my old guild then. We couldn't crack the Plague Q in time(that is, on MY time). I was summarily kicked and didn't renew my sub.
