@jafaicandotcom not really, the worst part was filling and re-drilling the neck so it could fit the body and bolt on. after that wiring was the next difficult, and i made up a diagram that worked flawlessly. are you looking to make a partscaster?

@twiggymac Not in the near future, but I have wanted to for some time. Nice to hear it worked out as well as it did for you.

@jafaicandotcom what i can say is just start working on it over time. if you see a nice deal on a neck or body, buy it. then you can just wait for the other and get it when you find a deal on that or have money.

one last suggestion is to MAKE SURE you have compatible parts. if you get lets say a squier body, you know that most necks will fit it, but if you get some weird off brand (such as sx or xaviere, because i have no idea if they line up well) it might not. research beforehand wont hurt

@jjojjorge well i would have to agree (seeing as boston is my favorite band), but some of the bass they do can go anywhere from 3 year old simple to geddy lee complex ;D

@twiggymac Yeah, simplicity and complexity going hand hand means awesome stuff. As for Lee, too bad he does the singing; because of it, I cannot really get the volume up; imagine if Rush had Delp instead. As for Lee's bass stuff, it is really really great of course (Needless to say, but anyway...)
