Id rather buy the ipod touch; but what sucks about that is that it gets messed up easily. My friend dropped hers a few times & it worked normal until it started not turning on at all. She went back to the apple shop & got a new one in exchange for her broken one.

i have a flip and a nano - nano kicks the flips ass.

the flip is so shaky when it records, it is nigh unviewable. I tried watching all my florida videos and i had such a headache after. Nano records smoothly with a lot less shake and seems to have better video quality as well. Flip cost me $200, nano 8 gig cost me $150. Flip sucks ass.

When you plug it in it will open up on your PC a folder with all recorded videos in it (not those synced from iTunes that are in a hidden folder) so you can put them on your videos folder, at least that's how it works in iPhone 3G with photos

its a great idea to have the video camera especially if you know how to get videos onto your computer from it and if like me you have your ipod with you more than your phone

the camera is actually very good quality for this sort of thing but the speakers really are only for watching back your videos, not for listening to music

The camera is on the bottom because when you record you are suppose to hold it sideways and when you turn it sideways the camera then is on the top.

I am guessing the camera was put on the bottom because the screen is on the top. There probably is no room within the case to fit the screen. They should have shifted the screen down and put the camera in the upper corner. Definitely a flaw. But, hey, everyone is a critic....
