This may sound like a silly question, but can you add a video showing the different types of ring tones this phone has? I saw one of your other videos and the ringer sounded very different to the normal Nortel ringers. Cheers.
quick question? i've been trying to manually add another line to the IP2004 line, through the function keys, wherein it asks to go to SBI, phone type, zone, and then extension, - where i put it in, then asks multi-line, extension - and the minute i put in the other extension, it replaces the first extension i put in. what do i do? how do i say yes to a multi-line and then how do i put in other extension. if you have the answer to this, please reply..... Thank you
@charkas7 Hi. Are you using Asterisk and chan_unistim? If so, chan_unistim does not support multiple lines per set. If you are using a Nortel BCM, you need to add another intercom key to the set. If you are using a Meridian 1/CS1000 you need to add another DN (SCR, SCN, MCR, or MCN) to the set as a key. Any other questions, feel free to ask--happy to help!
It isn't an internet phone it is a VOIP phone (Voice Over Internet Protocol)
