Good job bud.. Strong vocal range. My suggestion is to find where the piece hits the true spot. Hardest thing to do... But besides that, really well done.
Wow. Pretty sure Danny put this together for his mother, not the particular idiot who can't help but put down obviously talented people. No one needs your opinion. And it's clearly not making any difference anyway. Great Job Danny!
Yes, the pitch can be perfected electronically so you're right about that. I do sing barbershop music which is 4 distinct voices. He is singing 4 separate tracks using his natural vocal talent.
@Takethis455 mmmm nope. he deffinitly doesn't. its auto tuned and fake. I am a real singer and it bugs me that people consider this singing. all he is good at is editing and arranging, if he even arragened this.
@Nf9456 Yes, don't you wish YOU could sound that good!! HA! This young man has almost perfect pitch and can sing the pants off most people....even you!
@barczakeileen No he doesn't actually have perfect pich buddy, but i guess with auto-tune anyone can have perfect pitch. And by the way I know a lot about music @Jochen11977, clearly more than you if you don't even realize the difference between someone having natural talent and someone who uses programs to enhance their vocal quality. if he was as good as all you say he is then why does he not post videos of him just singing naturally?
@Nf9456 I do. They're posted in my quartet section. I like you how automatically think I use autotuning (although there is none in this recording, and the vocals are not altered other than EQs and reverb, slight compression..) rather than thinking I could be someone who knows how to sing. You're right though, i don't have perfect pitch, but I am an experienced musician who knows how to sing in tune.
@daniscool99 well if you are sooo expirienced then why does this song lack any dynamics. it is sung very flat out. music is always supposed to move. yet you stay on one level almost the entire song. if you really want to talk about musicality, because this really isnt very musical at all. you only do what singers are expected to do at the minimum, sing the right notes. if you didn't auto-tune it then i apologize i was wrong about that, i was inncorect in my listening i guess.
@Nf9456 There are some dynamics, but he did say he hadnt had any music, and only one recoring to go off of, cut some slack bro. I doubt that was the main concern. As a musician myself, i dont think you should be trying to complain about it, just enjoy the music, and move along if you dont.
@Nf9456 i feel the need to point out that perfect pitch is defined as the ability to identify and produce any given pitch without a reference point (which would be relative pitch). being in key is called intonation. that is what autotune adjusts.
also stop trollin. if you don't like this music then don't listen to it. no big deal. if you like lots of dynamics, might i suggest something like beethoven's symphony #3 in Eb Maj., op. 55. it's awesome (:
@Nf9456 Haha. This definitely isn't edited. Know how you can tell? There's still pitch issues (VERY slight) but it's still pretty damn good. It's just called actual talent. And blend. Sorry it's hard for you to believe that people actually have talent.
@johnlmcgary righhhhhht. cus u've heard me sing huh? I hate people who use auto tune. obviously i never would, I actually sing..u know, where you just use your voice.
wow this was really amazing. i love barbershop soo much and im glad you sang this. it was really beautiful and i dont know what u you were talking about in the description because it was amazing and it didnt seem like you were having difficulty at all. and how did you record all of those together? thats really cool? do you have to have a mac for that? and where'd you get the music from? good job again :)
singerguy93 -- if you think this is good, listen to Duh Tvoy Blagiy! That's one AWESOME work. It's not the ballad that Mommy's Little Boy is, but dude, it's VERY powerful, imho.
Thanks again, Danny, for all the hard work you put into bringing happiness and joy to those of us less blessed than you. I love to see young people doing something with 4-part harmony! Keep it up, dude!! Love ya'!
@daniscool99 I need to get back into singing lessons. I wish I was as good as you. May I ask where you got your music for You Can Fly from Peter Pan? Me and some of my friends from Vocal Ensemble at school want to try it. And I wanna try to make a multi track too. And can I ask where you got your Scarborough Fair arrangement that you did with your brother? Or did you arrange that yourself?
WOW, Danny! My mom used to sing this to me as a little boy as well. It brought tears to my eyes hearing it...especially in barbershop style. I know when I play this for my mom, she will cry. I love listening to all of your posts, but this one....UGH...Thank you!
@KnarfZX7R You are so incredibly welcome. I have heard recently from numerous people that their mother's also sang them this song. I never knew it was so popular! But it truly does bring me joy that this post can help bring reminiscent moments to other people the same way it does for me. I hope your mom enjoys it as much as mine did!
