Fleeing persecution? Do you realise the percentage of asylum seekers who are actually in danger? These are for the most part economic migrants. And yes, Sarkozy wants to be stricter about these economic migrants who lie about being in danger. And rightly so. And no, you didn't mention legality but the vast majority of immigrants to France are illegal. And France herself has every right to limit legal immigration if she wishes. You have no argument. Immigration is not a right.
