I've loved movie scores since I was a kid. I was born in 88, so i'm actually the same age as Harry Potter, but wasn't sold on the story until my girlfriend took me to see the last movie and I watched this opening scene, now I'm a huge fan. This might be one of the most powerful scores I've heard, up there with star wars and the godfather.
It's amazing when you listen to this song, because in my case, every scene from all the other 7 movies comes to my mind. Baby Harry, first time in Howgarts, Dobby, Sirius, Triwizard Tournament, an epic battle (Voldemort vs Dumbledore), Dumbledore's Death, Dobby's Death... I might have ended, but i will keep it in my heart and mind for ever. Thanks J.K Rowling :)

I thought the beginning of this piece was so eerie when I went to see the film in the cinemas and it was all dark and silence and the Warner Bros. logo was coming closer in the film. It actually felt like the end.

when I was in the cinema with my best friend who I've known my whole life I had tears in my eyes at the start of the film when this theme is played. We've been through the Harry Potter fanchise since we were about 7 years old. I sometimes feel rather sad when I read some of these comments. I discovered HP late in the game, literally a month before DH part 2 was released in theaters. Part of me wishes I could go back in time and have it be a significant part of my childhood. But I know this; it will always be a part of my adulthood.

When I heard this song I knew I was watching the end of a magic adventure and some tears came with a big smile... Since I took the first book I knew it... Always before I sleep reading and reading and dreamt with all this epic world... I'll keep alive this world in my heart and dreams the best ever years of my life were with Harry... All, me and the world we will with Harry forever... I'll miss all of them :')

I sometimes feel rather sad when I read some of these comments. I discovered HP late in the game, literally a month before DH part 2 was released in theaters. Part of me wishes I could go back in time and have it be a significant part of my childhood. But I know this; it will always be a part of my adulthood.

Harry potter is a Fantastic series. People say to me omg you still love harry potter? and i say always until the very very end. :( Hogwarts is my home. I always put this song if i want to cry sad or cry happy. And today i cried happy becuz i was looking on my harry potter autographs from george,fred,griphook,lavender, and arthur which i got in the Harry potter christmas treat in harry potter shop london, and harry's autograph which i got yesterday in the woman in black movie premiere in london<3

My mom was so sad that my childhood ended, she made me my own Hogwarts letter and made sure it had a Hogwarts seal on the envelope. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home.

I do not think that she wanted to be a witch any longer. Of course, it is also possible that her unrequited love and the attendant despair sapped her of her powers; that can happen. In any case...Merope refused to raise her wand even to save her own life."

My stomach gets that really hollow feeling inside whenever i hear this.....like, that feeling that you've lost someone really close to you.....I will continue to read the Harry Potter books, watch the movies, and go to the theme park as much as i can in my lifetime....as Lupin said "The ones that leave us, never really leave us...You can always find them...In here"<3
