it depends, you dont want to blow it up if you have a good karma character or if your doing wasteland survival guide, it's in my opinion a better idea to save it since then you have a place to buy and sell items

If you characters good, Save megaton and get the House

If your characters evil, then Destroy it and get the Tenpenny suite. Your choice. I picked to save megaton because megatons awesome.

use Megaton for a few lvls get all the stuff kill everyone and then do the quest to blow it up you get more xp and weapons ,then destroy tenpenny tower, lets the ghouls move in, then destroy it again =)

Honestly, this is on my older character, and I was still fairly new to the game. I put ammo of weapons I wasn't using in the locker because, well, because I could, lol.

I don't do that anymore though.

If you start a new game, pay attention to the info on the screen when you're walking around as a baby. It tells you how to do it then.

All the chem set does is cure addictions, as well as create a random chem for you (stimpak, mentats, psycho, buffout, jet, etc), but it takes about a game day to do that, and you can't purify yourself while it's making a chem.

It's the Shishkebab. You can find schematics for it throughout the Wasteland. I think one of the caravans has it. Made from a lawn mower blade, motorcycle gas tank, motorcycle handbrake, and a pilot light.
