  • I kind of understand the Japanese. If you have ever been to Japan for a few weeks, you understand how safe and peaceful this country is. Compare it to Europe or the US (everybody is rude, riots are spreading, dog-eat-dog in some bigger cities), and you understand that some Japanese think Japan will be the same once the percentage of foreigners gets too high.

I know it feels nice to imagine a place where people from all nations get along but if you look at the reality in 2011, it does not work.

  • @suction Actually when you say the riots are spreading in US I assume you're referring to the #OccupyTogether movement and it's portrayal by the media due to events in cities like Oakland. The Occupy movement also exists in Japan. blogs.wsj.com/japanrealtime/tag/occupy-wall-street/

And Japan has had riots and rude people just like any other country. So getting rid of foreigners is not the way to accomplish this 'peace' that you image ;)

  • @fantim Well, time will tell. I am pretty sure Japan will still be a peaceful country when hell breaks loose in the West. Because they have superior morals, and less problems through mixed beliefs.

  • @suction This actually brings up a very interesting point. The country is changing alot and the old rules are having problems adapting. For examples in schools there is no expulsion policy, so if kids are acting up then they go to detention. If they refuse to go then the teachers have no idea what to do. The old ways are going away fast. I blame it mostly on the generation gap in the country. I should make a vid/blog to further explain this. But something to mull over

  • @fantim Definitely go for the blog! I can already see your writing is better than your vlogging (no offense - but I not everything has to be on video these days).

  • @suction lol no offence taken, my blog is here fantimblog.blogspot.com It's dated cause I havent updated it since I left.

  • @homepal, you are wrong, in Germany you get the same old schmucks blaring anti-foreigner propaganda on the streets.

  • Doesnt work that way. Even the Greeks fought endlessly amongst themselves during the Peloponnesian war. And so did the Romans in their dispute regarding Imperial succession. Its a constant theme. Race and nationality is only the first thing on the list. People will eventually fight about anything. Whether its about abortion or cupcakes.

  • @Lordofthenipplerings mmmm cupcakes

  • Comment removed

  • excuse me but what is this song. I LIKE!

  • @sps dude you might be a American but your blood line all jacked up mixed .Walk the street of Japan will Jap slap your ass .

  • In the end, all nations will be united as one. And then, theoretically, will come the true abolition of war. The false Christ will dupe most of us. It will be the utopia generations have waited for. It just won't be perfect.

  • One guy on the van is talking about gulf war, don't make things up. Obviously your Japanese comprehension is poor. Gaijins are generally white people. Blacks are often called Kokujin. Koreans are called Zai-nich or Kankokujin.

  • @cyphertek Never said that's what they were talking about at that small clip I recorded. And never heard the word Kokujin used in the last four years. Thanks for stopping by :)

  • Funny how they're driving American cars yet they hate foreigners

  • That Black Bus with a Japanese Flag and Loud speakers are everywhere in the cities in Japan,,,shouting anti-foreigners and slogan..They shouting to Korean,Chinese,Brazilian and other foreigners living in Japan to leave Japan! But those foreigners are the one buying their Japanese product!

  • Korea and China hates on Japan? Yes, true, but if you look at history, it's pretty obvious why they hate Japan. They should forget what's in the past says the niponophile. Not as long as these things are going on in Japan. Clearly, there is no remorse in Japan for the past. It's just war and stuff like that happens, and they're not the same ppl they say. Looks like the same mentality to me, did Japan realy change to a nation of peace? I don't really think so.

  • Freedom? Let's bring back the KKK and the Nazi party and start persecuting the Irish, Jews blacks and yellow peril. People who want freedom at the cost of other's freedom is does not deserve freedom.

  • These guys are cowards. Big mouth only.

  • Only Japan, which supposedly is a modern country, allows ultra-nationalism to be heard in the public.

  • what the heck is this supposed to mean?!?!?!? everyone must be allowed to be heard in public! It is either freedom or tyranny! from what you're talking, you would make a great dictator! suppressing other people's opinions! why would your opinions be any better than other people's opinions? Im not a nazi but I AM IN NO WAY FOR BANNING or SUPPRESSING THEM! we are complaining of nazi suppression, but yet we are becoming the oppressors! NAZIS SHOULD SAY WHATEVER THEY WANT! its called FREEDOM!

  • You sound like an ultra liberal. When was the last time you heard people doing Hitler parades? If they did what happens?

  • Wow, Japan's too full of it self.

  • stupid arrogant yankee, respect japan and japanese people.you are gaijin in japan.go home

  • dude take that pole out of yr ass and relax we all human

  • What a retarded video and discussion.

First off, the video doesn't say anything about foreigners at all. Clearly the guy who put this up doesn't know any Japanese and is acting on the same kind of prejudice that offended him. Typical ignorant hypocritical American.

Newsflash: There is this thing, it's called "Free Speech". Deal with it. The vans aren't stopping anytime soon.

Lastly, some black vans aren't nearly as bad as electing W for 8 years -- though the Gov of Tokyo is no better.

  • The japs should stay in Japan and not come to the America's as they do the same thing. (not respecting foreign law) I heard japanese people got caught doing graffiti in other countries.

  • Japs took, from Britain and the west: TV, electricity, trains, cars, freedom of speech, computers, telephones, western clothes, internet, etc, etc.

  • The problem here is that Japan has not come to terms with its past - this sort of nonsense is banned in Germany.

  • @homepal Screw Germany, that's because you have no freedom in Germany.

  • @homepal

Haha, did you see the NPD Elections Campaign recently? They don't have vans, but the slogans are Germany for Germans ect.

Things like this happen everywhere, and part of it is simply the fear of losing the cultural values and Identity.

  • why are there so many foreigners in japan? get out

  • Yeah, I prefer Gajin, just cos my Japaense is more casual/informal

  • lol imagine if neo-nazis rode around in those vans in Germany, all hell would break loose.

  • I lived in Japan for 2 years, in Tokyo and in Toride, Ibaraki, and in Toride, I was harassed and followed by these black vans and called "gaijin." Now, all my co-workers and students told me how terrible it was, but they never protested, and they never openly opposed them. That's like the KKK coming to town and yelling "N--" at your Black friend. Not only would I support my friend, I'd be out there smashing windshields. Wake up Japan and send the uoyku dantai away!

  • go up to them and hug them it would probably piss them off worse than anything ruffle their hair for effect.

  • Over here in Japan thats assault. If you touch someone, and they didn't "like" you touching them, then you have set your self up for a lawsuit. You would go to court and possibly get landed in jail if the judge didn't like you. And since you're "not from around here" the police would try EVERYTHING to bang you up in jail so they can show the media the statistics of "all the foreign crime" and say "Look! This is ALL because of the foreigners!!!"

  • What utter bullshit.

When I was in Japan, I was treated like royalty, I got the express lane through the airport customs, Japanese would often give up their seats for me on the trains and I got hellos from most of the people on the street.

I come from Australia so maybe it's only fckhead yanks or wankers from other 3rd world nations they don't like.

  • I'm not from a third world nation and even if I was, I shouldn't be treated as if I was. When you were in Japan, you didn't even KNOW if you got treated shitty because you are too brainwashed by the discovery channel to think that all Japanese are good people.

You got "herros" from people on the street, not "hello" And you didn't get the express lane through customs, you got stopped and asked a load of questions.

  • damn then just knock the fucker out and run hahaha

  • Oh but don't you know? There's no Japanese in the Uyoku dantai. No, no, no. See, I thought that too but then I found out that it seems it's all just a plot by Koreans and Chinese to make the Japanese look bad. Wow! That's quite a plan isn't it? Because after all, there are no bad Japanese people. No way man! It's all just the foreigners that cause the problems. If Japan didn't have foreigners, everything would be perfect! Oh...except for all thos foreign products that the Japanese love

  • You're a troll

  • Well said smallcretzuli, it's the same with the muslims and slavic people here in Germany and the rest of western Europe. They are destroying our peaceful world, and at least these people DO something about it. Heil to them!

  • I don't wear it as a badge of honor mate, that's just what people call me. Only ones who use gaikokujin are those who are trying to be polite to your face. Thanks for stopping by

  • When I first got to Japan over 20 years ago I used to get pissed when locals called me "gaijin" thinking that it was "impolite" of them not to use the more honorific title "gaikokujin".

Some folks are under the false impression that Japanese calling us "gaijin" is like us calling them "Japs".

It's not. Best thing you can do is not to let small stuff like being called a "gaijin" bug you.....there' plenty of other stuff more worth to get upset about.

  • Yeah it's just one of those things you gotta let roll off your back

  • smallcretzuli,

Let me ask you a few questions:

1)What did you score on the Japanese Prof. Test?

    2) How long have you been in Japan?

    3) How often do you use Japanese at work?

    4) What do you do for a living?

Honestly I very rarely hear Japanese use the term "Gaikokujin".

  • What the fuck does ANY of that have to do with me objecting to a racist term?

  • In Japan, for now it's calm. But when China starts getting more militant and the Koreas intimidating, the Japanese will jump right into the Nationalists hands. Most Japanese tend to stick to their own anyway or have little interest in conversing with foreigners. It's just the society. If you don't speak their language, don't expect them to learn yours.

  • What kind of backwards logic is that?

English is a world language, a simple language chosen so that you can make yourself understood wherever you go. At least that was the plan. I took the time to learn it, and I think the Japanese should too.

  • those fascists are a small minority in japan, most japanese that ive meet since i moved here 4 years, have no problem with foreigners, plus the women love us

  • i`ve never taken advantage of anyone boys gone wild,so by sleeping with asian women,u think that makes me a racist huh??????if u cant get women thats not my problem, and blaming it on the color of ure skin is a poor excuse....

  • I never said sleeping with Asian doesn't make you a recist. Read carefully.

Why you say, "women love us"? You know what? You know Japanese women are interested in you because you are white or black because those girls think dating "gaijin" is cool. You love that fact. That's why you wrote that phrase. This is why I think you are a racist.

  • so now im a racist cos japanese girls like dating gaijin guys???i wrote that phrase because its true.....and u sound like a typical gaijin thats being here too long, and ure getting tired of japan........now ure also stereotyping not all japanese girls date gaijin guys cos it cool....not all japanese girls are the same

  • Please do not get wrong impression of Japan because of those extremest right wing idiots.... Japan is a very nice country.

  • Your kings are talking.

    v=jnFiyl46jcs

    v=MSqk5-kinqE

  • LOL We have a lot of black and white vans in the states :D

  • Did you know Japanese king is also Korean?

  • WTF, why would you live a country that doesn't want you? Kill or be killed? Makes America sounds like home sweet home now doesn't it? Oh well, they have nationalist in every country. NEXT!

  • What does America have to do with this video?

  • Americans are gaijins aren't they.

  • all foreigners are gaijins

  • Including Americans.

  • guys even the japanese dont take these vans seriously!

every country has crazy nationalists :)

not thats its a good thing, but dont think its just japan :)

  • dinodadog you are the reason the human race is set back!

instead of hating people, why dont u do something more productive?!/

haveu ever considered how much foreigners HELPED america for example? its practically MADE from europeans...

get real, and get a life!

  • I should agree with ilovehollycombs on that one.

  • Hey skinhead. Did you know white folks(aryans as you like to say) like ourselves actually come from iran? We are all of persian decent. Know where we came from before that? India. Before that? Africa. There is no such thing as higher evolution. Only change and adaptation. Even with that taken into account the genetic variation between one ethnic group and another is practically non existant. We are all the same douche magee. Get overyourself

  • If Dinodadog ever knew that of course, things would be a lot easier.

  • Tim, do you understand Japanese?

The man was not saying anything like anti-foreigners.

Will you turn off the loud BGM you added?

  • Yeah I do, this was a white van. They're not against foreigners, the black vans are. The white vans more promote Japanese pride.. except at a rate that would be considered politically incorrect in america. Anyways I don't have the clips for this anymore without the background music. I lost my hard drive with all my old video clips on it. I'll try to get some anti-gaijin footage for you though.

  • What I was able to confirm was the white van was saying something about wasting tax money.

And the white van speech at around 0:20 and 1:06 are same video.

The speech from black van 0:31 was erased.Music only as you hear.

  • It appears that the black vans and the white vans compliment one another, like they're two parts of a whole. Positive/negative, good cop/bad cop, yen/yang. One emphasizes how wonderful the Japanese are, the other emphasizes how bad everyone else is. Both messages merge to form an ultra-conservative nationalistic message.

  • Very true, good way to look at it.

  • ? Please don't leave unknowledgable wapanese comments on my page.

  • not a wapanese.... I am just saying that too many foreigners go to Japan hoping to live the Anime fantasy and get angry when that illusion is destroyed.... they then blame Japan for not conforming to their Anime fantasy.... so I simply say if you if you don't like it then leave.

  • Just because someone points out facts about japan that would be unacceptable in other parts of the world doesn't mean they don't like Japan. I agree with you, too many foreigners come over here with no idea of what japan is. It pisses me off so bad to see that type of foreigner, you know who they are cause they either only hang out at manga shops and akihabara, or they looked completely mind boggled that it's not all cute and animated.

  • The point that I am making is that Japan doesn't have to accept foreigners or gaijin if they don't want to. The US seems to be perfectly comfortable being anti-illegal immigrant as well as anti-hispanic. I simply repeat, to all here. If you don't like Japan then simply leave. Japan doesn't want you, just go home. Japan is not an anime Utopia.

  • Steelgunner Jin, you keep on trying to insinuate that all foreigners in Japan are looking for an "anime Utopia." This is such a retarded sentiment, I won't even bother with it. Yes, there is racism in America, it doesn't make racism okay. Yes, there are Americans who are against illegal immigration, the key difference is that the van people are not protesting illegal immigration, they are protesting ALL "foreigners," whether they be American, Korean, Filipino or whatever.

  • What am I wrong about? I never said that ALL foreigners in Japan were there legally, just that the van people are against ALL foreigners, legal or otherwise. Some people classified by the Japanese as "foreigners" are from families who have been there for generations.

  • Then they can leave, if they want.... who says that Japan has to accept them.

  • There is a difference between "they can leave if they want" and "they must be driven out."

  • Where did you hear about 30 million American citizens being deported? I knew about the Muslims being taken to Guantanamo, but 30 million "legal Hispanics," a.e. CITIZENS being deported?

And again with the "anime fantasy" thing. I'll admit, I like anime and manga as much as the next person, but I certainly don't think that all of Japan is like anime, and nor does anyone I know, and I'm in an anime club. I think you're painting things with an awfully broad brush.

  • See you admit you are an anime freak.... the Betty Ford Center has a program for that kind of addiction.... they prescribe the "get a life" treatment.

  • I am not an anime addict. I like certain anime and manga based on their artistic merits and interesting story lines. You're using broad assumptions based on a segment of the anime fanbase that is tiny, if it exists at all. How would you like it if I said that some interest of yours was an addiction and that you needed to get a life? Like martial arts? Get a fucking life, bro!

  • Oh, and I think I promised to tell you to STFU if you repeated the "anime fanatic" idiocy, so here, STFU.

  • Man, I like Japan, but I absolutely hate anime and manga. Just because there is a bunch of pricks calling for all non-J-people to leave doesn't mean that we can't dispute this obsurd warning. These vans are just full of people who are simply wasting they're time. Noone with a spine will heed their call.

  • Where did you hear about 30 million American citizens being deported? I would like to know, because I consider myself moderately informed, and it seems like 30 million Hispanic American citizens being deported would make a few headlines, or at the very least make it into a few of the blogs.

  • Sorry if I was repetitive just a few minutes ago, my posts weren't showing up.

  • I wrote "wants" didn't write "will".... but as some Red Staters around here they talk about it all the time

  • The thing is, Japan wants to be a part of the UN's Human Rights council. So, if they want to be a part of it, then they're going to have to fix some things.

  • vxnine: "The thing is, Japan wants to be a part of the UN's Human Rights council. " What do you exactly mean in relation to this video? racists, facists are everywhere, including in the US and they are allowed to talk, hint hint: first amendment free speech. they are allowed to talk in Japan too, but as a foreigner in Japan, we have equal rights, however, there are thing Japanese need to work on.

  • The van people are part of a cult of nationalism and race. Their ideology is based on outdated racial concepts, mythologized history and grossly inaccurate data. It is akin to fascism.

  • wah wah wah.... anime freak

  • Um, I refuted you on that, remember? I said I like anime, but don't think that Japan is magic anime land, and neither do any of my friends who like anime, or anyone I've seen, heard from, or even heard of. Any further repetition of that retarded and useless attempt at an insult will be answered with a very friendly and polite STFU.

  • Don't like then leave.... Japan doesn't have to like you. wah wah

  • It is their culture.... you don't have the right to determine that for them.

  • I seriously thought while reading the video's title it was about japanese fashion-trends like wearing black and white VANS! ........ ._. uhm ....yeah

    xDD lol nevermind! <-german! haha

  • I so wish I could buy VANS over here. They're so hard to come by.

  • I've seen them all over the place here. Check out ABC Mart, if there is one in Uts. If not, tell me your size and the colour you want and I'll keep an eye out for them.

  • LOL if people were driving around in vans spouting that crap anywhere else in the developed world they'd be dragged off on inciting racial hatred charges.

  • BritishRed - the difference is that here, it is called "Freedom of Speech". Much like in the U.S. with the KKK speaking out their hatred of "people of color". One may not agree with what they say, but they cannot be stopped for that reason.

The last line - "In Tokyo, it's kill or be killed"??? Nonsense. Oh, well.

  • haha yeah thats why I said it. My shows are to show how comedic things can be. You don't really have to kill anyone in Japan.

  • that´s insane...

if one was running around in austria telling everyone austrians are better than anyone else in the world he´d be blamed for ... being sort of a neo-nazi or something...

and in japan that´s totally normal?? strange... *shocked*

  • you maybe better to see N 11 or go by your self and see how political identity can be diversed and not fixed on an Unic point. they don't care to have american, nazi, japanese WW2 flags in the same souvenir shop...lol

  • LOL The White vans are cool, but where do these vans show up?

  • They just kinda drive around everywhere. This particular one was in Tokyo

  • keep Japan clean, keep Japan safe, keep Japan rich, then keep foreigners out of Japan!

  • Those black vans make me feel unwanted! The white ones make me feel insignificant.

    :'(

  • they probably have like a whole X-gijan swat team in that van, that stops and all these guys jump out with automatics and start shootin' up the place! and snipers on the roof!
