He is definitely getting better at playing at both ends of the ice but to me he will always be pure offense with very limited defensive prowess. That isn't to say that is a bad thing. But just my opinion.

Lucic had only a few good hits, just that mike van ryn hit clouds everybodys judgement. Regehr i respect but i consider him more of a shut down defenseman, which he obviously is. Hes a good hitter but II wouldnt call him the best. Ovechkin is more skill and has had a reputation to be dirty. Dustin Brown and Patrick Kaleta i consider in THE BEST category.
