  • It's fake...

  • Super Palm muting machine man, respect

  • I see in the description that you made the drums yourself. i want to do this! how did you do that? I can't play drums and usually just make mine via "piano" keyboards lol. I'd love to know how to make them to sound better!

  • wooow pretty good haha _lml

  • Quadruplets. What are the chances?

  • Y was the drum video feed crappy?

  • did you use mics? how did you record the guitars and bass so cleanly? dd you input into a programme?

  • @ILuminaireProdukts I recorded everything directly, it's in the description ;) Thanks for the comment!

  • @msmyla91 did you run the singal through the audio interface of your samson g-track?

  • dude,this is awesome :D

  • great sound quality! and how did you keep time? you weren't wearing any headphones.

  • @TheJayman213 Thanks! I recorded everything directly so there was no bleed whatsoever and I could use my speakers.

  • @msmyla91 so you couldn't really hear what you were playing? impressive. but i'd also try it that way if my camera had an input.

  • @TheJayman213 I could hear what I was playing ;) I was recording audio in GarageBand (using my audio interface with my guitar plugged directly into it) and simultaneously shooting video (of course I threw away the audio from the camera afterwards). I could hear the drum track + I could monitor myself playing. It's just that I used speakers instead of headphones.

  • GOOD.

  • How did you record this, and with what? nice btw

  • i have ur bass in black! lol

  • i have the same bass in black :D

  • What type of guitar ?

  • @Walters3131 it's a heavily modified Kramer Focus VT111s. Just a cheap Strat copy loaded with DiMarzio electronics + a checkered WD pickguard

  • I feel like I'm watching a punk version of the brady bunch

  • cool haircut

  • you forgot about the bass & clean guitar in the bridge.

  • y two guitares u play the same thing

  • @DavidsMasterAccount I'm only playing the same thing during the verses. Double tracking is very common anyway ;)

  • @DavidsMasterAccount no he doesnt look at the begining

  • This isn't my style and I'm not a fan of blink 182, but I had to give this a thumbs up. You seem really skilled.

  • @monorailsandwich Thanks a lot!

  • Nice bro you are talented (:

  • @KoralieMegan The same person is playing all of the instruments and that person is me. I don't even get how you could not notice that.

  • @msmyla91 ah thats why they have same haircut!

  • @msmyla91 i think what he means is hes playing the same chords in both videos

  • what would you guys do if you were to play live

  • @unknwnZERO haha I guess we'd have to find some new musicians to play with! Yeah and I'd have to move to practice with the rest of the band

  • how do you get it to do split screen?

  • hey what program you use to make if the videos?

  • @conrado318 @plaugurismmusic I used Screenflow (Mac-only program) because it's really easy to use, but any advanced video editing program (like Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, Final Cut etc.) will allow you to make splitscreen videos.

  • @msmyla91 thax but i dont have mac :(

  • @conrado318 Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas are both for Windows. You can even do a simple splitscreen video in Windows Movie Maker. Search for "movie maker split screen" on YouTube ;)

  • @msmyla91 ooo thank you very much!!!!!

  • haha Okeey I'm mexican but I really aprecciate your video guys!! Nice Cover and Voice sounds pretty Good!! you should put him on your videos and nice Job mate!! ;D I like it

  • @CreakyGuti Thanks man! I'm from Poland actually ;) The singer is American and he's definitely going to be in the video next time. We have already recorded a new blink-182 cover which I'm going to upload in a couple of days. You should check it out!

  • @CreakyGuti The singer might be in the next video

  • Great job man, you sound like blink 182.

    Grettings frome France.

  • the drumming looks pretty damn good tho lol

  • Its pretty awesome

    I love his voice.

Maybe do some old blink 182 stuff

would be a real pleasure :)

    keep it up

  • dude, this is amazing! I love your look :D

  • Amazing! You should have showed the singer in the video though.

  • @AnthonyYaffCovers we planned on doing so but... well, we didn't ;P but he is definitely going to be in our next video. And thanks for subscribing!

  • excuse me man, i had a question. How do you make this video? i sorta understand the concept of dragging one clip onto the other and having to be the same length, but how do you listen to your video to play along with it? been trying to figure that out for days

  • @enjoilakai3 well it depends on whether it's a live recording or not, in this particular video drums weren't recorded live, basically I recorded drums first, so I had the mp3 file I put on my iPod and I could listen to while shooting the video. Then I imported the video file and the previously recorded mp3 file into Screenflow, and by listening to both audio tracks (video obviously also contains audio recorded by the camcorder), I was able to get the video in time with the mp3 file [continued]

  • @enjoilakai3 [continued] then all I had to do was to disconnect audio from video (or you can achieve the same effect by muting the video's audio) so that you can only hear the clean mp3 file :)

Yeah and remember to leave yourself some space when editing, by this I mean don't put the mp3 file at the very beginning of the timeline (0:00), it makes life easier when you need to crop excess video. You can drag everything to the beginning after you're done aligning of course.

  • @enjoilakai3 shit this came out pretty chaotic and unclear but if you need any help feel free to hit me up

  • @msmyla91 cool man! i know a little more now. Still a little confused. I am recording from the webcam on my macbook in imovie 9. I hit detach audio and it looks like it duplicated the video beneath the original recording. when i hit record though, i cant play the audio in imovie. so you are saying i would have to extract the mp3 from the video and put it on my ipod? that would make more sense.. dude, totally make a tutorial video, there is 0 in youtube..

  • @enjoilakai3 if it's not a live recording, then you should have the mp3 file prerecorded, before you start shooting the video. When you're shooting you have to have something to play along to and that's the prerecorded mp3 file.

If it's a live recording... whoops, shit, I think I got it all wrong. I was talking about aligning pre-recorded audio with video all the time and you meant how to align all those four video clips

  • @msmyla91 dang thats a good idea, just record on my iphone and play along, gotcha.. thanks man!

  • @msmyla91 ya i need to learn to do that too lol

  • @enjoilakai3 In that case, if the only audio you have was recorded by the camcorder, you have to import the clips (preferably start with just two and then add more), choose one clip and then align the rest of the clips to the chosen one (I suggest using the precision editor).

In my case I was aligning the clips to the mp3 file I recorded using external mics and not to the video file (I recorded and edited in GarageBand, so there's no camcorder audio).

  • @msmyla91 [continued] There is 0 on youtube that explain how to make music vids like this, might get quite a few hits ;)

  • oh my gosh this is so good you are very talented and so is the singer!

  • @TheDutchcocaine1 Hah thanks a lot! It's hard work too, though ;)

  • nice. :-)

  • @lgu8802007 thanks!

  • hey just a suggestion but add a bit more reverb to your amplifier.

  • @gorak142 thanks, I'll use your tip for future projects ;)

  • currote guapo, buen clima xDD ^^

  • your right its good singing and everything else is good

  • nice. But you need to double track the rhythm. Pan right 100%, pan left 100%

At least double track, or you can quad track if you want to make it fatter.

  • @ransisua Thanks for the comment! I tried that, I laid down a total of four guitar tracks and it it gave me a LOT of beef. Really nice. I feel like panning 100% is too much though, 40-60% did it for me.

Palm-muted tracks took a lot of effort to line up :P

  • @msmyla91 copy/paste xD

  • @ransisua

yeah never pan 100% either way. it takes alot out of the power away from the guitar

  • Quite a good singer. Nice video!

  • awesome man! how did you use imovie to get 4 shots on 1 clip?

  • @abhishekcs27 Thanks! Well, I actually only used iMovie for opening and end titles, I used Screenflow for the splitscreen and reflection effect.

But if you check out either my Linoleum or The Kids Aren't Alright cover, you'll see the iMovie picture-in-picture effect, I used it there.
