I don't really get it, who controls the monsters?? In one trailer Heller says that Mercer sent them, but in here he controls them?? I think in here, when the 2 monsters stand in front of him, they are intimidating them, so he tells "his soldiers" to shoot by closing his hand, so they go after the soldiers instead. And how does Mercer control the monsters?? Sorry to ask do many questions, lol. But I hope we all find out our answers soon!!

1: His hands go up in the air because of how Heller attacked. He hit the soldier's hands upwards (to knock the gun away), then punched him backwards.

2: He put his hands up in surprise/to defend himself from the falling soldier.

3: It looks choppy at the last second because the Blade-Arm pushed him upwards slightly before it cut him in half.

Judging from the look, they're just combat-ready Hazmat suits. In-game, yeah, their clothes don't matter much. But in the comics, their armor actually helps them not get killed constantly. It's just that in-game, Blackwatch is a bunch of weaklings, but they're waaaaaay more competent in the comics.

@Thanatos606 That's probably true, because in-game, there need to be weak grunts as the most common enemies, while stronger and alternate enemies have other placements. Tougher, elite enemies like Super Soldiers and Hunters, larger, rarer threats like the Hydras and Leader Hunters, mirror enemies like the Evolved, etc. But in canon, they're more powerful. To be fair, so is Alex (Being able to use a power without losing the disguise and using 2 different powers on each arm).

The game would be sooooo much harder if you had to deal with the Blackwatch soldiers from the comics, even if Zeus had the same skills as the comic version. They're not stupid (they'd noticed and shoot you when you're jumping around and running faster than a car), they're actually skilled, don't die in one hit, and actually coordinate instead of firing randomly.

@Thanatos606 That would mean your agility would be meaningless. With Alex's skills, they'd probably die in 2 hits. But 2 hits accumulate to a lot of time taking down just a few of them. I find the soldiers to fire effective, as with Tanks. It's helicopters which are the only things that I find to have terrible aim.

Agility would be useful once they've already spotted him, but pretty useless at any other time.. In the comics, Zeus can't just fly around like a madman without taking a rocket to the face. And there's the fact that the Blackwatch Soldiers from the comics actually know how to dodge. They won't sit there and let Zeus tear through them. That would make fighting them even harder.

@Thanatos606 Hell, you can see it right in this video. The dodge the Blackwatch soldier does at 1:19 is more than double the distance of their dodge rolls in game. If Alex or James had to contend with soldiers who dodge well and competently, it'd be nigh-impossible to win without having a Tendril Barrage handy for every battle. In their defense, in-game soldiers in P2 seem to dodge more, but the distance hasn't been increased.

The blade slices anything cleanly, and they just dont put continual blood otherwise the city would be a pool from all the people you kill. The cut in half was pretty realistic with the blade, he just doesnt have much blood.
