I clawed my way to the front hours ahead of time... I think most people were there for Paul but I was so happy to have seen Moz that I just went back to my tent and listened to The Smiths till I fell asleep afterward! I think the "diva fit" was blown out of proportion. If anything, it was funny... I wish I could have seen The Smiths! :(

that was hilarious. i was there and was just glad he showed up. he basically bewildered and cowed the audience into silence and played his songs between that. nice camerawork on this video too - i can't listen to the first 30 seconds of this enough without LMFAO - morrissey says "BLEEEE-AK" to the onerous air!

my FIRST concert was the THE SMITHS. i've seen morrissey almost 35 times... and the last 6 including this one was absolute horror. fuck who he is now. he's a parody of himself.

he complained about that on stage... but i'm sure he know how much he sucked. his stage demeanor was very disconnected. i went with people who had never seen him before and they were so disappointed. as was i... and i have seen him about 35 times... my first show was the smiths.

I'm a huge Morrissey fan, but that was horrendous. The smell of meat, technical problems...whatever. When people are paying that much for a ticket, even icons need to at least try to give a good performance.

I think he did quite well, considering. And it's clear he did try. It can't be easy to sing when you're nauseous. The sound problems will of course adversely affect the performance.
