  • Just ordered it, now to order the rest of my first build...

This is going to be interesting.

  • "Unboxing:" Yeah great review hurr *facepalm*

  • I have this case and I love it. I bought the official Cooler Master HAF 912 windowed side panel (was hard to find - goes out of stock frequently).

Lots of airflow, lots of space for components, great build quality, great price, absolutely love this case.

If you're looking for a budget case hit this up.

  • are you sure you can put 200mm fan at top?????someone plz replay plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz i need info fast because it doesnt look like it can fit if i buy this case and 200m green led fan......

  • @BowmenFilms Yes you can fit a 200mm fan at the top

  • @BowmenFilms I have a Cooler Master 200mm LED (Blue) on top and it fits perfectly. Screw holes matched and all.

you can even put a 200mm for intake in the front.

  • i love these reviews. this guy gets to the point and doesn't bullshit

  • Nice looking case, good review. I think I'll get one.

  • This review is wrong. The 5870 fits, you just didn't take out the metal IO shields.

  • @tombom52 He said you can remove them to make it fit..

  • "This is the most reasonably priced of the series..."

Did he just admit that all the other towers are overpriced?

  • @tapanojum1 Obviously. -_-

  • @tapanojum1 No but that's the conclusion I've had for a long time.

  • AWESOME review! I will be getting this case, seems very awesome, and I will get a pair of LED fans for the front and top possibly as well. Thanks newegg! :D

  • Antec 300 Illusion vs this? Which is better

  • Hey Paul, can a H100 Corsair cooler fit into the cheap HAF 912?

  • @DamiPL From what I have read the h100 will not fit, the h60 will though.

  • @12me91 h60 is prty low for cooling, would rather spend lil extra on h100 but that sux if it wont fit. Do you know if i can take the h100 apart to rout the tubes through the holes and mount the radiator outside w/o breaking it?

  • @DamiPL I don't know to be honest. What are you going to use the cooling system for? if its just the cpu get a hyper 212+/evo. or you will probably have to get the haf 922/32 or a coolermaster storm case to use the liquid cooling.

  • @12me91 I already have the CM Hyper N 520 and its great so far but i could use extra juice for overclocking. I cant rly handle custom liquid cooling, H100 is self-maintenanced so i dont have to do anything w/ it thats why i wanted that. Cheap haf 912 has the holes for the tubes and place for radiator on top so custom LCooling can be installed but its a pain to maintain that. Im thinking of just drilling through the case to mount the h100 if i cant take it apart rofl its a cheap case afterall.

  • @DamiPL It will i have one in mine right now

  • I want this Guys job!!!!

  • The guy reviewing the case is absolutely unprepared and unknowledgeable about this case.

  • I'd love to get the stormtrooper, but I'm on such a tight budget right now...

How good are those meshes on the 912 at catching dust? I don't plan on overclocking so air-flow isn't too important, I just want to make sure I stop dust in it's tracks, cause even when I clean regularly I feel like it's slowly consuming my computer's innards.

  • Will a CORSAIR H100 fit in the HAF 912?

  • Great review, but if you want to improve production quality of your videos, I'd recommended actually unboxing it before you start recording so you know what to expect beforehand. Also, editing out the awkward "I'm not quite sure how this works" parts helps make it a bit more professional. Oh, and add some lights or something.

  • @DavidImmPhoto CALMTHEFUCKDOWN!!! He is allowed to make mistakes as he has a freaking awesome job!! He also has so many different cases/builds/accessories/etc. he has to go through, it's not possible to remember everything and know exact specifics about a new(to him) model chasis. Get a life or go back to sucking your binky ... b!tch.

  • @DavidImmPhoto

    1. He did eyeball the 120mm, he was just making sure he was correct.

    2. He was thinking 2.5inch drives and floppy came to mind, same goes with me, he corrected himself by saying ssd's

    3. It's a new case, he's not gonna know exactly how everything works

    4. Yeah I admit that was actually a little stupid of him

    5. Are you deaf that's what he said "Uh so is just a 5.25in brackets so you can mount a 3.5inch drive in there."

    7. He said we're not we were.

  • @DavidImmPhoto Calm down.

  • if this was in camo it would be awesome

  • @DavidImmPhoto pual know everything

  • Unlisted my ass!

I got this and its great, it's freaking beast.

  • I love tacos.

  • This was a great review.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE Your review of this review was great as well.

  • @romefox Your review of his review of this review was also great.

  • @xxdeejinxx Your review of my review of the review written on behalf of this review is also very great!

  • @romefox reviewception.

  • anyone know if a Radeon HD 6950 will fit in this case?

  • Hey Manga. If you watch the video at 6:58 - 7:09 the demonstrator attempts to fit in a HD 5870, 12 inch graphics card. According to Newegg in the details tab of the XFX HD 6850, it says that the length of the card is 9.25". This means you'll have just a little bit more than 2 inches of space so an HD 6850 should fit in the case.

  • @theBabystache Yeah I saw. I then wen't back to the 6950 and read the dimensions, but I just wanted to be sure, thanks.

  • great case i just brought two fans for the top and one on the side great temps

  • That thing is butt ugly. I don't get the black or boxy angle style everyone's jumped on. They need to bring back the CM590. Nine filtered external 5.25 bays are better than those silly sideways mounted 3.5 bays. Every time you take the side panel off on those cases you bump a sata connector and lock the machine up. Also those top/side/bottom mounts totally defeat the purpose of the filters in the front...

  • @ladefreakndah LOLLOL U JELLY U CANT GET THIS CASE

  • Comment removed

  • @ladefreakndah The "but ugliness" should be expected for a case this big for the price.

  • @ladefreakndah Jesus man, how rough are you on your computer parts?

  • @darkbyke Not at all, I cant break the laws of physics. The cables get dislodge because they collide with the side panel! Recently I swapped towers (with another stupid pos I bought) and put 5 harddrives in my CM690 and during post my primary harddrive always shows up as Bzbzbzbzbzbz~ with the side panel on. It doesn't matter how gentle I am putting it on, it always throws the the SATA cable off canter. I don't even have the side panel on right now because of this bs.

  • @ladefreakndah That's kinda funny, that's never happened to me with the 3 different cases I've used, 2 bunch of which had hardly any room compared to this case.

  • can a H60 fit in this sexy case?

  • great job Newegg - thanks especially for the "video card test" showing that a full-length graphics doesn't quite fit - exactly what I was looking for.

  • im using this case in my budget build

  • @johnb32xq Same here, the GPU card I'm gonna use is a smaller one (HIS HD4670) so it should fit nicely.

  • 7:50 lol

  • @DivineInstructions

    I concur...

  • I have used this case on 3 builds and It is definitely worth it!

  • looks nice! Man, too bad I alredy bought a Thermaltake V3 :(

  • Would a radeon 5750 work in this case?

  • @AaronJenkins000 Of course, why not? If it's too long you might need to remove one of the 3.5" bays, though.

  • @AaronJenkins000 5750 is VERY small so yes it will fit, it can fit a 5970 which is about 12 inches long.

  • I was considering buying one of these to replace my Antec P182 (which itself is a nice solid case).. too bad it doesn't come with the full size fans it can take.

  • whys it unlisted

  • that case is one ugly fuck

  • @crimson177 I think it looks nice. Oh well.. everyone has their own opinions ;)

  • man looks like a really nice case, i want it!! and it juts for $60 right now... but i wanted to use it with a Radeon 5970, is this case as large as to fit a radeon 5970? because i dont want to return it and spend $20 in shipping...

  • @freego56 yes you'll just have to remove the drive bay

  • The HAF 912's center hard drive is a cage and is removable should you use a long GPU like the 5970.
