I have husky pupy but all sey me " u must show him (a god) who is a boss" and can u sey me how I can do that?and can I train him when I sey stop and go he do that. THx
@TierfreundinX First , you can ask a friend to help you, staying banded as an obstacle. Then, ask that friend to lead your dog to jump over you. Then Try to reward the dog for the jump.
I am so sorry for the loss of your incredible dog, our Red Husky is like this too, so eager to please you, my favorite dog I have ever had, I am so sorry, I know how heart broken you must be, <3
I'm amazed. You are an excellent dog trainer. I went through all your comments and tried to learn. I wonder if you wrote any dog training book! I need badly some good advice to train my Canadian Siberian Husky. He's seven month old and often get excited seeing strangers while walking. He starts jumping and demand petting. I had to hold his leash tight. Any advice?

Please accept my condolences on the loss of Bonjuk. You and he clearly had a wonderful loving bond. I couldn't say who's life is the richer for having shared it. God bless you.
@Smoked0ut24 You can use food luring him over the leg. Or you can use an assistant to stay bended and you can lure the dog to jump over him. First you should start having the assistan completely layed down. Succes!

@TheBob0416 You have to use a remote training collar. Condition the dog to this collar(see Dogtra type) and associate your voice suggestions with the vibration from the collar to distract your dog to you. Reward him with food if he's obbeying.
@graceland02 aman to that one i can't keep mine in the back yard with just me her and three other dogs they have a lot of people around them which is totally amazing!!
Bonjuk's smaarttt!! you've done a great job! Bonjuk made my 2 huskies look like they're still in kindergarten, training-wise. It's so hard to get them to focus! Kudos to u
@acqua173 Thank you for your nice comment Unfortunately, Bonjuk past away on 2nd of may 2010. It's a hard loss for all that known him live or in videos.
@catalin30 Awww :'( I'm really really sorry to hear that... breaks my heart too. After seeing the video (again and again) I cant believe Bonjuk's gone. RIP Bonjuk and sure that he is missed :( My heart goes out to you and people who knew Bonjuk the smart & very skilled husky.
love the video how long did it take u to train him?? was it hard??? i have 1 but it seem like she only wants to lay down and sleep... she 4mth but will love to train her... can u tell me good ways to do this??
Two thumbs up to you! Good Job! I just got a 6 month old Siberian husky about 10 days ago, I can tell that training him is very challeging as Husky are highly inteligent yet very stubborn :)
You have acomplished a lot with Bonjuk! Good job!
My dog is not potty trained yet... wish me luck :)
WOW, very impressive and Bonjuk has beautiful markings! I have a 8 month old female SH and she has the greatest personality. Any tips for training her? She is the most stubborn dog I have ever met, I've established dominance (and believe me it was difficult) but I'm trying to walk her off-leash and I don't know where to start... I've heart huskies are not too good for that.
That was incredible. Got a husky born Nov 21 2009. Clicker and treat training going well. Daily 4-5 mile runs. Very smart. Very active. Wonderful dogs. This video was very impressive. You guys have a wonderful connection.

never to old to train a dog. patients and dont get frustrated, if you get impatient the dog will sense it and react. be the leader. very calm tone and dominant.
I would like to visit Romania in August. My aunt lives in Brasov(orasul meu natal). Thank you for your invitation, I will come to see your dog training school... can't wait!
As tips, you could make him to recognise your food as reward. So you shoul conditioned him until you give him a treat. When he' unpatient for the food from your hand, try to retreat your hand, and close up the hand again, when he, calm. Try to use all your speed reaction, because huskies are very fast. Good luck! Let me know about te progress.
Thank you for your response(multumesc). I hope my Canadian Siberian Husky will turn to be a loveable dog like yours. I will keep you informed of his progress and will send you pics.
In Romania I had a German Shepard(his name was Nero) and I trained him from a manual. We use to swim in the lake together, go for bike rides, play tennis(Nero would return us the tennis ball)... One of a kind memories!
Lovely German Shepherd u had! I understand that you've been in Romania. If you come in Romania again, call me. I will invite you to see the newest dog training school from here, where I'm leading.
Loved the video of your Husky! Did you know there is a new membership site, for Husky owners and lovers only? Have a look at my Youtube channel for the link.
You have to ask? Research the breed a bit more maybe. This breed is very smart and very trainable yes. Will not deny that. but I have known too many people that were overconfidant in their ability to overcome the nature of the breed and it ends badly for the dog almost all the time. Even the Siberian that actually competed and won at the highest levels of Obedience trials decided one day that something else somewhere else was more rewarding.
Or how about my friend who was so confidant his Siberian was a perfect off leash pet he didn't listen to top Sibe people. Every day for 7 years proved them wrong as he let his Sibe out of the car and let him walk to the door. Every day for 7 years he did just that, walk to the door sit and wait. Then one day, for reasons unknown, he took off and it ended on the road a couple miles away. He was struck and killed by a car.
Thanks Inku and Richy for your nice comments. Answering to your questions, I can tell you that my huskies are all on lead, if this mean train them to know who's the leader of the pack.
After all these, everything is simple, somehow, to teach them different stuffs. They'll become focused on us if they consider that we are interesting enough to earn their attention. ;)
wow id love to be able to teach my sibe to do something as amazing as that, she's quite a stubborn one, just turned 7 months...same question as richy902 do you let your sibe off lead?? and if so how did you teach it to be so obedient and come back to you??
absolutely amazing. it's nice to see someone spend alot of time with their dog. I spend most of my time with my husky but I should try to train him more. We spend most of our time hiking through the woods.
I loved it! You 2 were having so much fun, it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for loving your Siberian Husky, having the patience and taking the time to train you pup. Nanc:
I have a husky and she does some incredible things and I have never had any dog before.I take her to Unicersity campus and ask her to catch me rabits and she is a master of it., The entire time she is off the leash and followes me like a shadow. Here are my tips from personal experiance.
I think it's not safe to have your husky off the leash in the day time or when there is too much distraction. If she is off the leash u must be entertaining to her or be a playing mate to her(part of d proccese
My two will come back to call and know the usual commands and their running commands, the hard part is keeping their interest, I wouldn't ever dream of letting them loose other than in a closed field where Ia practice call back every day, it's not 100% successful but when my two have slipped their leads, I can usually call them back. Any tips on how to keep their concentration on me?
Wow! your dog is amazing. how did you teach him to carry a bag like that? I have a sibe, she's 5months old. Really would be nice if i could teach her that! Thanks!
Wow! nice job dog training!! How old is he? And is he off leash? I have a sibe, Nimkyse :D Were getting a puppy in 8 weeks. Same breed. How do you teach them to roll over? I've tried ( btw I'm only 12 ) it doesn't work!!
About the dog pills... You can put a pill into a piece of food...
Try to throw it to him, to catch it from air. He's gonna swallow it. If he's not used to catch the thrown pieces of food, you should train him to catch it. You can throw few pieces of food, first, with no pills inside at all. After the moment when he likes the game and he is waiting for the game with interest, you can put a pill into the piece of food(lets say, some meet).
man you gotta teach me hot to make mine not to run away once its outside the house.. great job at training it! please please i really need to train it not to run away. haha i have vids of hes and as u can see shes a loose canon!
Do you think that alaskan malamutes or siberian husky can't be trained with positive methods? some malamutes owners say that the positive methods doesn't work in this kind of dog. That the best method is the punishment. But, I see Bonjuk and it's amazing, they say that only with easy nordic dogs, the positive works. With my malamute/husky mix, I used the positive method and it worked.
I am so glad this video was done! I'm in the process of training my siberian husky to become my new guide/service dog. 99% of people who know don't believe it's possible because she is a husky, but I know with the right training she will be great!
This video is lovely to watch!!! Well done to you!!! What a great husky!!! How i wish my Princess is like that. She can only do basic tricks. Again , well done!!
What concentration! The dog was completely focused on the owner. I have a border collie heeler like that, and have just bought a 9 week old husky pup. In three days the pup learnt come, sit, shake hands and go toilet. They are incredibly smart and I hope I can train my boy like the one on theis vid!!!
Oh god! Please help me! I have just bought eight week old husky - Sabre. Day 4 and we're just about getting there with toilet training (he will call if he needs to go) but I can't get anywhere with basic obedience (sit, come, stay etc). PLease could you give me some tips? Also do you ever let yours off lead? We have a lot of land but already I can see once outside he just goes insane and bolts...had to drag him out the duck pond yesterday - he's eight weeks!! really appreciate any help - thanks
Really amazing... huskies are not easy to train. I think mine is pretty good, he knows lots of different commands, but off the leash in public, I guess his Don Juan/adventurous side takes over!
We have three rescue huskys and all the advice you need can be found by contacting your nearest husky rescue.(Look on the net) they will be glad to help!
My husky only gives me troubles and destroying gardens and everything. He is very destructive. It is very hard to train him. He even attacks me sometimes. Can you giv me tips on how to train this type of dogs? He jus doesn't listen to me.
Huskies are very smart dogs. You must be smarter then your husky to allow them offleash. And you must train and make training fun. Fabulous job on the training, from a fellow trainer
My husky just cannot be trusted off lead. He gets bored easily and runs off to find something exciting. He is never off the lead anymore - only when he was a young dog in a play group, and he still had to be chased down a few times. It is amazing to see how focused this husky is on you!

You can throw few pieces of food, first, with no pills inside at all. After the moment when he likes the game and he is waiting for the game with interest, you can put a pill into the piece of food(lets say, some meet).
Hope you'll be alright with this.

I have a question.

They can be trained in positive methods, this is obvious. Positive methods are always the best.:)

I am so glad this video was done! I'm in the process of training my siberian husky to become my new guide/service dog. 99% of people who know don't believe it's possible because she is a husky, but I know with the right training she will be great!

Bravo to both dog and handler!
