people complain about how fragile xbox's are but yet these are people who dont take good care of their shit, I bought an Elite about a year after its release and it still works perfectly(did get the overheat RROD caught it in time and let it cool) AND it's original controller still works! all because of good care, I know people who have been through about 6 xbox's in less then 9 months all cause they didnt care for it.

BOTTOM LINE: take good care of your 360 and you wont have to replace it!!!!!!

this is fairly easy to fix there's loads of videos on it. ps3's get the yellow light of death so there not all as good as these other clowns would have you believe , but at the end of the day don't buy a second hand console just get a new one then you won't have either of these problem's and it will be new fairly cheap for a new Xbox or PlayStation 3 these days.

If you know how to use ebay it can be a great place to buy stuff. I have bought a few things off ebay and everything was great. Even a used optimus v it was still under warranty and it worked fine and if it had an issue I could get it replaced. Simple way to use ebay read description if it isn't as described when you receive it tell the seller and send it back for refund or replacement. If they don't agree or respond open a claim and if that doesn't work contact the BBB.

Wow this guy isn't too smart. First off when buying from ebay if it says that the xbox doesn't work and has rrod don't buy it unless you know how to fix it. And if it says that it doesn't have it and they sent you the xbox and it does open a complaint with ebay and the bbb if necessary. Sending a xbox in to microsoft that was purchased from ebay isn't a good idea either. As the person probably tried to repair it and failed. So basically read descriptions before buying.
