What I've heard (never used it myself) is that for some people it doesn't work, for some people it works great for a few months, and then doesn't, and for some people it just works. I love you so much. I'm 16 I stuttder and i'm proud. I'm beautiful, nice, and sweet, and I just can't say a few words. I know how you feel. People make fun of me, repeat the things I say, do I cry? Nope. Just keep on talking. I stutter when i'm in a rush to talk, nervous, or If i'm trying to tell a story and I know I got full attention. Stuttering is neither a problem with the voice box, or is it a product of psychosis. This is a very common myth about stuttering. To reiterate, there is NO link between stuttering and mental illness. Since this video I have become more intense with my speech therapy, but not to appease anyone. I'm doing it for me.

It is not about stuttering. It is about the appropriate time to ask questions in a classroom/lecture setting. Just because he was not called upon doesn't make the professor wrong. Quite often these questions throw the entire lecture and class off track and this little twitt probably had a slew of questions that was stopping the professor from doing her job. So you stutter-get on with your life and realize that life is not fair!
Learn to keep your hand down and mouth shut when the professor is talking and ask your question at the appropriate time. If you don't get it, go back to high school where you belong. I've dealt with students like you in the classroom and for some reason they want to ask endless questions about nothing and then get angry when they don't get their way. Grow up or go back to grade school!

I would have to put the sounds together with a taperecorder to find out what you're saying.

I am all for people with stutters being treated fairly.... but not when it is fucking slowing down my learning and the entire classes learning.
All those wasted minutes of him asking questions will lead to people having to work harder just to find out what they could have found out in the lesson.

forgive my ignorance as i dont personaaly know anyone who stutters...but after a few minutes of watching this all I could think is it seems to be hard on the body...when someone has to talk for a extended period of time does it become physically draining? it would seem to make someone tired like a workout!

It is not about stuttering. It is about the appropriate time to ask questions in a classroom/lecture setting. Just because he was not called upon doesn't make the professor wrong. Quite often these questions throw the entire lecture and class off track and this little twitt probably had a slew of questions that was stopping the professor from doing her job. So you stutter-get on with your life and realize that life is not fair!

Learn to keep your hand down and mouth shut when the professor is talking and ask your question at the appropriate time. If you don't get it, go back to high school where you belong. I've dealt with students like you in the classroom and for some reason they want to ask endless questions about nothing and then get angry when they don't get their way.
