STANDARD. i know you mentioned that you spent ages making this but in all fairness no way does this give any interpretation of the game its just a couple of characters walking round either killing or talking im still sooooo exctited bout the release of the game but this is a let down of a trailer to be honest. sorry but thumbs down for this vid.

One of the developers said, think of this game as kotor 3-10 all in one. It has more content in it, then all the games they've created put together. From the actual mouths and blogs of the creators. So I dont know what your whining about.

Sorry, but I made it when they only had the 3 "trailers" for the game. Which basically consisted of developers and designers talking about the game. There was little to no actual decent game footage. I had to work with what was available, ya know?
Many things from all parts of Lucas arts have potential but bioware is different. They are the only ones so far as i know who haven't given a sad 2 thumbs down i hope they can pull this off

And I'm sure a lot of KOTOR fans feel the way you do about the game. I know I kind of do. While I would much rather see a KOTOR 3 and wrap up the story of Revan and the Exile, I'm just glad that, finally after all these years, something new in the time line is coming out.
I'm happy to see an MMO myself... If you were in SWG in the founding days you would know why... and then the fun was annihilated by producers and devs alike... I hope SWTOR is everything SWG used to be and more... yes I am living in the past...
I love the fact that BW is comming out with SToR, but I don't like that it's cartoony. Idc if the Lightsabers are huge or not, I won't be using one. But I liked the graphics from SWG, a little more realistic. Plus, this game looks like it's going to look like a super hero type mmo with all the tight clothes and the Superman hair. Of course, this is only the beginning, so I shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Right, there have been rumors about KOTOR 3 since the second game came out. That was a little over 4 years ago though. The way I see it - at best - they'll finish SWTOR and then work on KOTOR 3. It's just discouraging that they aren't making 3 first....

I would love it if you could just say "Make me this game!" And Bam! They made it. I think if LA and BioWare were smart they would have went ahead and made KOTOR 3 rather than this one. I know in the long run everything boils down to making money, and with the price of the game and monthly fees the MMO will make them more money.
It is like, EA, a bit side tracking here, I wish they hadn't taken over CnC and that Westwood would have just stayed in control.

It seems that, lucas arts doesn't really care a whole lot anymore, they just want money, and forget about the fans. I miss the old days, of when there were books, the 6 movies, and some old school games, with character, story, and some fun gameplay.
Right. Simplicity is sometimes the better way to go. But LA probably feels the need to keep up with all of the other gaming companies out there. Sure they would keep their loyal fans, but then they'd be missing out on all the new fans. To me it seems like a bit of a competition - "How many games can we put out? How many fans can we gain this year? How much more money can we make?"
Sometimes, you need to just have a steady flow, they are taking risks and screwing up. They had a formula, but wanted something new to try and bring in more fans, and it just might fail. It is the problem of most economies, sometimes the risks are just too great, when you should have just stayed with a steady, safe flow.
They really did have something going with the whole trilogy theme - games and movie wise. I don't quite understand why they want to try and redo something that has failed for them in the past. I realize they are working with a well respected developer on this project, but Galaxies fail so much. Why would they want to spend all the time to try another MMO?
If they are smart SWTOR will be similar to Fable II. Where you have online and offline play with a main story line that, if you chose, can be effected by the other online players.
Galaxies could have been good, but they just couldn't come up with stuff to keep it fresh, and just kept screwing themselves over. Making it too much like WoW, getting rid of the timeline(In galaxies order 66 didn't happen), and just over all bad ideas. I wouldn't mind a MMO, but prioritise that which everyone wants, more Kotor. A movie on the KOTOR storyline would be awesome. xD They would have a lot of work to do in order to live up to fans expectations though. But I do agree that they really should have turned out KOTOR 3 before the MMO. I mean, really, it's been over 4 years now, and they won't say whether or not they are ever going to make it.
True, Bioware usually doesn't dissapoint, and I do hope that the Clone Wars Series has the balls to have that padawan die at least in order 66, yet I have my doubts. Hopefully they can muster up something, I don't want to have to give up on something star wars. Hell, I like the christmas special and that was made of fail, this new series is just pitiful though, and it saddens me.
cool trailer, I really want this game on xbox 360 as I have beaten the first one and am in progress of beating the second. It was a successful duo & lets hope they don't stop at the trio.

A movie on the KOTOR storyline would be awesome. xD They would have a lot of work to do in order to live up to fans expectations though. But I do agree that they really should have turned out KOTOR 3 before the MMO. I mean, really, it's been over 4 years now, and they won't say whether or not they are ever going to make it.

True, Bioware usually doesn't dissapoint, and I do hope that the Clone Wars Series has the balls to have that padawan die at least in order 66, yet I have my doubts. Hopefully they can muster up something, I don't want to have to give up on something star wars. Hell, I like the christmas special and that was made of fail, this new series is just pitiful though, and it saddens me.

cool trailer, I really want this game on xbox 360 as I have beaten the first one and am in progress of beating the second. It was a successful duo & lets hope they don't stop at the trio.

Agreed, but I just wish they would come out with the real KOTOR 3. I've been waiting years for them to announce it, but still nothing. I suppose as long as this game turns out all right fans will have no complaints for a while.
