Please note that the guy i mentioned previously failed an exam because of illness related to obesity and the bus company still let him drive. I don't mean to pick on someone because they are overweight but there can be consequences to choices that should be faced and the bus driver was unhealthy related to his weight which in turn led to chronic illness and people died because he still drove even though he knew he failed a physical.
I see patients all the time with chronic illness hypertension, diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, etc who will not make the choice to lose weight and improve their health. What bothers me aside to this is these chronically ill people affect more than themselves with all sorts of indirect costs to society like medications funded by medicare which is funded by guess who. I remember a tour bus company that went bankrupt after an overweight bus driver fell asleep and killed some old people.
Fat chicks are funny to watch as they zoom around in their fat-scooters eating stuff and thinking about pie. I don't like it when they clog the toilet with fat-poop at church though. It smells crazy bad and it looks like someone threw a wet sandbag off the CN tower or something. Then they go and eat some stuff to make more poop, but first they have to zoom their fat-scooter to the store to get the food in those huge sacks with "this end up" written on the side. @08WSChamps None of what you said are the problem, it's the kids who use them. I'd say a good %80 of the kids at my school play video games and most of them are skinny. Most girls text constantly and yet most of them are skinny. And why should we get social again? Because you said so? I can fit in a normal carseat just fine, but all I can say is I hate people. That is correct. It is isn't about fat children. It's about keeping kids safer longer. DD is 2 and 20lbs(skinny) and her seat goes to 65 pounds. Hoping to keep her in it until 2 months before her 8th birthday!

I have a bigger seat for my 4 yr old because it is safER to be harnessed (not due to weight) then it is to be in a boosterseat. My kids will be in a harnessed seat until they outgrow it. The most dangerous thing a kid does each day is ride in a vehicle. So if it takes putting my 4 yr 41lb child in a harnessed seat to keep my kid alive then I will do that. I will keep my kid in it until the max limits of the seat are reached. Which I believe the seat will expire before the limits are reached.

Fat people use their surplus cash to buy fat food, fat people have more surplus cash they buy bigger car seats. Whatever people with surplus cash demand capital supplies. Unless you want to tell people what's good for them and what to spend their cash on, which Bob is usually dead against.

The comment I made awhile ago was not to imply that you don't have a right to eat what you want, but it seems ridiculous to me to stick up for a right that has nothing but bad results to one's self. That's where we just disagree a little. Sometimes people's choices do affect others, not just themselves, like when that lady had her arm broken by an obese person sitting next to her in an airplane. The resulting law: If you take up 2 seats, you pay for 2 seats, and rightfully so. If I'm not affected, I have no complaints about it. Unfortunately, that is obviously not always the case.

I have a bigger seat for my 4 yr old because it is safER to be harnessed (not due to weight) then it is to be in a boosterseat. My kids will be in a harnessed seat until they outgrow it. The most dangerous thing a kid does each day is ride in a vehicle. So if it takes putting my 4 yr 41lb child in a harnessed seat to keep my kid alive then I will do that. I will keep my kid in it until the max limits of the seat are reached. Which I believe the seat will expire before the limits are reached.

No, my kids are skinny but I want them to ride in 5 point harnesses longer because it's safer and I don't want them to die in an accident because their seats couldn't hold them. That's why parents are buying bigger carseats. It has nothing to do with weight as a fat kid can sit in a booster just as well (perhaps better) than a skinny little one who can slip out.
