Much easier way to break the locks off with a twist. But I don't suggest doing it as there is usually a huge fine and then you get your meter removed.
@septaric I work for a city utility. When chickens*#t customers park their vehicles over meter boxes, we get a hand full of our biggest guys to pivot the vehicle out of the way...if you are on our list we will get our lock on.
Water service isn't free...just like gas for your car or food for your belly...unless you have a well, spring, lake, or river.
LOL! I guess im not the only one who got a lock on the meter. My man cut the the first lock off and the they got this huge ugly lock on and we can't cut it off anymore. lol!

I put a lock on my in the open postion so they couldn't put there lock on it. Or you can always car your car over the meter.
