  • You're basically every bit as good as Peter Green. I wouldn't say that one could cover Bloomfield's style though by just playing standard tuned blues like this. One would have to play in a jazz format and then play in an acoustic, Doc Watson/Chet Atkins format to really get Bloomer's ability. Green did some good acoustic stuff with Mayall right?

  • @cameltooth1 Oh...no..no. no. Please, listen to as much Peter as you can. Honestly. Force yourself to listen, tho you shouldn't have to...make yourself as familiar with Peter's ability as you can. You won't say that again. I am sure. Thanks tho.

  • @skydog46 I certainly feel what Green plays, but he doesn't take my breath away like Bloomfield does on the numbers from Super Session and East West. He does sometimes play something undesirable for many people, including me, rarely. Peter's simpler style is very pleasing and tasteful. It's what you don't play that counts sometimes. I have just been taken with the indian classical interpretations thrown into the blues/rock genre. So many people automatically say that it's called psychedelia.

  • Wow, this is a amazing good performance! I just love the way you play and your tone..keep on doing like that!!!

  • Thanks for posting this. Can you please tell my what scales you are playing? I believe the background is in D7? After the intro do you go to a F pentatonic scale? I'm guessing the scale is a mix of F pent minor and major? Thanks for your reply, I'm trying to learn this one.
