If you were Bowman, how would you live after going through such an otherworldly experience, the likes of which you would never be able to fully comprehend? How would you come out of such an experience, assuming you DID come out? Space...the quintessential mystery. Maddening. Disquieting. Silent. Eerie. Terrifying. Few adjectives that describe the essential significance of "Jupiter...and Beyond the Infinite."
and intruiging at the same time.could somebody post the 1st part of"Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite",where the monolith and jupiter and its moon rotate TOGETHER.thank you

Amazing as it is, I can't help but feel claustrophobic at parts in this scene, I don't know why.

Yeah, it has the same effect on me, but the visual effects make its worthwhile.

I have some Salvia here. I think I'm going to smoke some and then watch this and trip out.
I reccomend you get some, and then you will understand fully what you just asked about Dave.

Back when special effects didn't mean clicking "earthquake" in iMovie.
One of the greatest scenes in the history of film. What any other director such as myself can only strive for.

Anyone have any idea how the hell they filmed this?
hippotoast 3 years ago 5
They scanned different sorts of artwork through the camera, or something like that. They explain it in 'Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures'.

The likes of which we, being not Kubrick, will never fully comprehend.
