The Liberace of Guitar! Yes, he has the pieces down, but there are dozens, maybe hundreds, of guitarists who can play this stuff just as well and with a lot more soul. Check out the the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society (CAAS) site.The pompous intro to this schmaltzy video would make the world class (they literally tour the world) performers at this annual event laugh..or something. Search for: Thom Bresh (son or Merle Travis), Buster B. Jones or Tommy Emmanuel for starters.

A Very SAD FACT is that REAL TALENT like these two men are not recognized..... but instead....Guys like the one on"American Idol" with the Mascara...America should be ashamed of itself !!!!

A Real instrument is much HARDER....

I know this because I have been trying to master it like this for more than 5 decades...

It seems as if the Parent would "Man up" and tell their children that they are Terrible before the whole world can see it...

I couldn't agree more with you John! I just starting find out about David Paul now. I love the way he mixes' showbiz with a great talent,, its' so refreshing to hear.And merging those songs like that ..is genius! That's one of the reason they call him the Maestro I guess! This is so great ! Now finally someone new to believe in,, like I did with Chet! Great stuff.
