any portable speaker with 40mm 4ohm 2w Speaker and make sure it is magnetically shielded, because other speaker with exposed magnet is big enough.

im using hdmx speaker on the go.

1 and 3 is correct, but the 2 is wrong... the battery life is still the same, because the speakers is unpowered (no amp), it was wired directly with the PSP speaker out.

Yes the 2 original psp speaker was removed, because you dont need it anymore.

that time the audio bost app is not yet released. the sound you hear is original audio/speaker out of the psp. just look for a speaker with the lowest ohm you can find. lower than 4ohms, im using 2ohms 2watts on the white psp slim and 2ohms 4watts on my red psp phat.

qussetion? do you has the plugin that gives you like 30% more dB??? if so can you msg me and tell me when i can find it. i did a speaker mod on my slim but its just not powerful enough to bump the speakers. ohyeah thats tight man!!! thats kinda what mine looks like.

In this mod, i was not aware about the plugin... The speaker is at leasy 2ohms and 2watts if you like to make it more responsive and more powerful.

noh it doesnt matter, as long you can hide it, and you can save more space, im using a magnetic wire for my LED. (magnetic wire) the one you can find inside the dynamo motor from toys or (shielded wires) from your headphones.

sick mate but just wanderin can u connect both L and R channels to one speaker if your only puttin one in.

Good day mate, yes its possible but still it will produce mono sound, I rather connect the speaker out to the speaker, and the other side is for the LED's

I just remove the HDMX speaker its easy, and mount it to your PSP. You can check the details and visit the link for the pictures.

no offense but how's the battery life?

The battery life is still the same, coz it doesnt have any other power amp to supply for the speaker.

The for music it will last for 5~6hrs with LCD light is off.

On games it depends of the 3D graphics that will consume more power for processing, last for 3~4hrs.

Yes they are still stereo coz of the two speakers, some of my mods with single speaker are mono.

No UMD drive was removed coz im using CFW, those speakers are from my HDMX Go Speaker bag.

Nop UMD was removed coz its useless.. any type of wires can be connected from the speaker to the speaker out of your speaker, but not on headphone.
