I ride a Trail bike around and I'm lucky enough to have Truck drivers who actually pay attention to the road, my worst fear on the road IS indeed car drivers. Too many times have they nearly changed lanes on me, pulled out from a side road, run red lights as I am about to take off. Fucking idiots. I feel bad for truck drivers who get the idiots, trying to sneak in front of them at the lights at the last minute, It's not easy for a truck to stop quickly is it!

Picture yourself at a bus stop, someone stands next to you. Your both stationary, not moving... Who fucking cares.

The height of that truck, the camera angle and field of view hinder the visibility of how far away the truck actually is. There could be 1-2 meters in between that truck and the car ahead.

That's cool. It's scary as hell at first though. The logical part of my brain knows it's sped up, but it took a while before I quit thinking "oh shit" when you'd come up to an intersection or curve. It's like the first time I ever rode on a rollercoaster. We came into the first curve and (being used to driving a car) I thought, "oh shit; we're not gonnna make it!" Leaving town in peak hour the right lane is always faster for some reason, so I try to stay in this lane until I hit the 80 zone then I get over, but usually end up going faster in the left then.

yeah, thats usually because most of the drivers are impatient and always stick to right lane to go as fast as they can,...but as a result, clogging up fast lane badly with too many cars...and opening up plenty of space to overtake from left lane.

Yeah Cairns drivers are crazy, the Kuranda drivers are worse, the ones that come down the range in the mornings...... 6 days a week for 7 weeks i had to put up with them... don't think i'll go back this season, I couldn't stand that abuse again.
