If you slightly increase it it should just go fine , but if you crazily increase it will be history... And you need an aftermarket cpu cooler... Or the temperatures will kill the cpu. You must know what you're doing :D

the vid was uploaded 2years ago!! but his system seems to have a compaq motherboard, how did he overclocked it??? if it's through an windows app that can modify the fsb then he overclocked all the system component at the same time: cpu gpu (pci or pcie or agp), ram mainly.

when u overclock the cpu, it consumes more energy then it normally would. I think the GPU may not be receiving enough voltage during some moment at startup. But i'm not sure, u should really run some stress test program like Orthos to check stability

I once tried overclocking the GFX using Rivatuner. i tried putting it to its max and setting it, the display became some kind of broken interface of my OS.. I just restarted it and it returned to normal.

I again tried overclocking(not maxing it out this time) and suddenly it worked but the performance just decreased after it.. and I can't somehow run my games...

Thats not the point of increasing slowly. The point of increasing in small increments is to find the maximum frequency the pc runs stable with and when you go over the maximum and the pc is unstable you can go back to your last stable setting.

XD the same thing happened to me...your video card drivers are messed, its not a hardware problem because it either works or it doesn't in that case, switch to your integrated GPU then delete you current drivers and reinstall. And for everyone who said it's a hardware problem look at it this way Computers use binary 1 and 0. so it either works or it doesn't DDDDDRRRRRRR :/
