Democrats set the budget during the past 2 plus years but Bush didn't veto so they ran the deficits up bad. It is never good to have the same party as both Congress and the President. Before the Repubs took over Congress in 1995, Clinton's budgets were a disaster. His final two years in office the numbers were skewed by nearly forty percent to give Al Gore a chance in 2000. You know Gore he is the one who couldn't even win his home state. There is enough blame to go around in this mess.
