  • did the dumbass at the top of the highest rated comments say that bush made the deficit? the stupidity of some people is amazing! just google "US Deficit chart" and you'll see that we've had a deficit since FDR's new deal. Democrats AND republicans built that deficit.

  • Man, did Obama whoop McCains ass on that one or what?

  • Obama just has one problem. HE doesn't have a helcopter NOW. We give him rides on OUR freaking Helicopter. What a worthless Baztard.......that ego needs to go.

  • Does MC have have a problem with his jaw?

  • I love how much he just goes on searching for words and making no sense.

  • His words don't make sense to people that do not want to hear what he has to say. They make perfect sense to people that are smart enough to understand how Obama is destroying this country with his out-of-control spending.

  • Funny how it isn't mentioned that this was a project approved during the Bush Administration, and Obama inherited its completion. Politics as usual in the USA.

  • mcain and obama were on same grounds it was nice to see how happy mcain was to see obama agreed and replied nicley to him he knows that his campaign against him was just mean/unfair and i honestly think he was not leading the majority of the mudslinging mcain is a generally nice man

  • the presidential helicopter program costs 6.8 billion dollars. What a crazy amount of money and waste of tax money.

  • Pathetic old man.. HE DIDN"T ORDER THE COPTERS.. the order was placed even before he won. You need to tell the people feeding you info to do a better job

  • Nobody's criticizing that, nobody's reporting that. That's what happens when you're spoonfed Olberman's drivel every day. Show me one place where anyone said Hussein ordered a helicopter. The issue is that he can kill the order and everyone pushed for that.

Where do you live, in one of the 54th or 55th states?

  • fucking liberal

  • I'm not an Obama fan but that was funny

  • Sure, eliminating the cost of the presidential helicopter would save the economy. As the most powerful democracy in the world, our pres and commander in chief should travel in a used Ford Fiesta to signal to the world how well we are doing.

Can anyone knocking Obama really make the case that McCain, that bitter dottering old fool, would be doing a better job right now? The man needs to retire. He probably thinks requiring the Pres to eat at Denny's Early Bird special would fix the economy too.

  • You're missing the point hut, the existing Marine 1 is fine. And your point about McCain? He's the one that warned all of us about the economical meltdown if we didn't regulate more, this was in 2005, Look it up. What was Barry doing at the time? Doing blow, or giving someone a bj?Wait, that was prior and it was Biden's daughter doing the blow, no, Obama to, sorry.

So tell me hut, what do you think of the decisions Barry's made so far? Do u want the gov in more aspects of our lives?

  • ehhh... the problem really started in 2000 and you know who was in power of congress then? it just blew up and up til 2005-2006 when we all said DANG o.0 woops...

  • ehhh, no it was prior to that, 98/99 iirc. So the Reps had control of Congress, but Frank and company forced the issue and the Reps gave in.

It was fine until the subs came due and killed the economy, everyone and their brother had investments all backed by real estate to some degree, but this is somehow Bush's fault? Tell me, show me how and where please. The Bush taxcuts worked and still do for the most part, but once Barry's shit kicks in, it's all over, poverty will be felt by everyone!

  • Mccain's just pissed off he LOST! HAHAHAAHA

  • Obama is like what the hell is he talking about!

  • Well considering Bush was the one that actually ordered the new helicopters I'd like to see how they blame Obama for that one...Why don't we all become Libertarians and then all our problems will be solved, eh?

  • I can't, in my wildest imagination, ever anticipated hearing such a sage and responsible response, as we heard from President Obama, might have even entered Bush's mind let alone spoken from his handicapped speech.

  • I consider myself something of an amateur historian and I truly think these two men have demonstrated the best relationship of POTUS candidates since the post-presidential correspondence of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.

  • I know that there are often tensions and arguments in our country (especially when you turn to the Internet), but we should really appreciate what these two men are doing. In so many other countries all over the world when one candidate loses the election, they start a violent conflict, but here we can have a civil discourse even when we think the other person is wrong.

  • I believe too much in what America could be. I do worry that Obama will cut military funding too much. I served in the Army under Clinton and our budget was weak and our equipment was a joke. I pray for for my brothers and sisters in arms that they will survive this administration.

  • Democrats set the budget during the past 2 plus years but Bush didn't veto so they ran the deficits up bad. It is never good to have the same party as both Congress and the President. Before the Repubs took over Congress in 1995, Clinton's budgets were a disaster. His final two years in office the numbers were skewed by nearly forty percent to give Al Gore a chance in 2000. You know Gore he is the one who couldn't even win his home state. There is enough blame to go around in this mess.

  • jeneva79: You can't prove a thing you say. Period! And to think the debt we have now is only 3 years old is showing how little you really know! Your "facts" are easy to prove wrong with a simply googling of the internet(s) hahahaha... goon

  • You know fella, I couldnt agree more-enough blame for everyone. Its too bad that Democratic "leadership" is going to make the President look bad.

  • timmunst: What words do not match what actions? Come on smart ass, actually bring something to the table beyond blanket accusations. .....oh wait. you cant! Sit down and shut up.

  • McCain looked like an ass. Obama's gracious and humorous response (reminds me of JFK's quick wit) diffused the issue and made McCain look very, very small.

  • I like them and this made me feel really happy. I want to make some of these little lovlies and think of Julie and what's her name. This project fills me with love and holiday joy. i will support the home made things! I LIKE THEM

  • The Republican just need to give it a rest. You guys had 8 years in power and you f*cked up. You lost, we won. Get over it.

  • Where was McCain when Bush ordered these helicopters in 2005?

  • Somebody give that old man a comb!

  • 6.1-billion makeover of Marine One

  • He adds almost $1 Trillion to the national debt, then blames Bush? How can anyone support this liar?

  • The election is over, he IS the President of the United States.

Why won't you give him a chance to work?

When, hopefully, the economy improves, you'll reap the benefits as well.

Blasting him now won't accomplish anything good for anyone, McCain understood this very well.

  • He IS the President thanks to uninformed people, illegals voting, dead people voting, felons voting, people voting multiple times, not to mention Black Panthers with clubs in front of polling places. He signed the 'stimulus' package. Now they will print more money causing the value of the dollar to go lower and inflation to go higher. But it seems that most Barry Hussein supporters can't grasp this, as they didn't hear it on the news.

  • well you must be really stupid!!! You farggot

  • Funny how things started to go really wrong after the Dems started controlling congress. Obama will bring this country to ruin with the help of Reid, and Pelosi. This spending plan will cripple the economy not bring stimulus. Obama talks a good game, but his words and his actions do not match = Liar!

  • The economy has already been crippled by eight years of nonsense policies of G.W. Bush

Remember how was the economy when Clinton left the post?

He balanced the budget and there was a surplus.

In fact they even turned off the U.S. National Dept Clock, because it wasn't needed anymore.

If this is not enough evidence I don't know what is is.

And now I hear that Obama will ruin the country.

    Please!

  • peppeddu- I said "really wrong" not because I blame the Dems, the problems started in Bush's last term in office, but because Obama is only making things worse now. He is not "leading" but letting Reid & Pelosi run our economy into the ground & put our nation in the worst debt ever!

  • how do you think we should fix our debt issue when our economy isn't even moving right now? - due to the lack of credit? well I remembered it was the past 8 years of uncontrolled spending that got us into this shit today. so screw off buddy.

  • bitricky-"how do you think we should fix our debt issue when our economy isn't even moving"?

Umm... how bout lowering taxes? It's worked in the past so why not now?

  • Lol...know who had control of the House AND Senate the last part of Bush's term?

    The Democrats

I must agree on the "leading" part... Obama is a Pelosi, Reid hand-puppet. He's their spokesperson...their salesperson...he sells bull to the country for Pelosi and Reid and most of you buy it, even though you have a closest full of bull already. Sure, Obama will try and put a few pieces of his own bull on the table, but the bull needs to stop. End government dependency. End big government.

  • I have a vague memory when the Messiah of the Republican party took over in 1981. He came in with a clusterfock much like we have now. He raised taxes AND raised the national debt to a level that the government had never seen before and everyone was bitching that the country would be bankrupt...so tell me, where were the bleeding hearts then? What make it so different now, the fact that a Republican put us in this mess and not a Democrat? Enlighten me, please.

  • That is why McCain lost the election, our country is facing the worst finical crisis since the Great Depression, and he is worried about a fricking Chopper. He is totally out of touch.

  • Typicial liberal-doesn't know the facts. Try 28 helicopters at over $11 Billion. And this idiot talks about finanicial responsibility?

  • McCain lost the election because he's almost a big as idiot as the one you guys and gals elected. He's your president not mine. They (not him he would'nt know how to word it) should cancel the orders, and sell the decoys, and only have one with a bullseye painted on the side of it. He's a liar, and bought his way to the new blackhouse, and no I won't give anyone a chance to turn my country into a socialist state.

  • Sorry, but you've got me confused with someone else. I want absolutely nothing to do with Barry Hussein. The commie-loving media picked both Barry and McSame as our candidates.

  • Hey, smart guy. Bush ordered the helicopters. Not Obama. Do some research. Typical Republican, runs his mouth, with no clue. Obama is the one talking about cutting back or cancelling the order.

  • Wow, I am so glad we picked INTELLIGENCE over stupidity. Good hell, why did NAYONE ever think McCain could lead this country?

  • The audacity!!!! McCain, how obvious can you be? Why didn't you say something to Bush when HE ordered the choppers four years ago???? BTW, you and the Bush regime made the deficit due to the defense spending. Obama was eloquent and you're a sore loser to bring this up!

  • lisalinke: "The audacity!!!!.."

    Truly true.

And don't forget the new and upgraded Air Force1 that W. Bush ordered. Incredibly, nobody objected to it!!!

On top of all that, it's a good idea to eliminate health care for all the congress members. It's such a waste and in-efficient government plan.

  • Thats what you call change. I never saw bush answering senators infront of MEDIA!

  • Don't worry, you will get your change. We have all endured a OIL president for a gruelling double term. Now prepare yourself for a New World Order President. Hope you don't mind the chip that gets implanted in your son/daughter.

  • Wow. Then you should just move out of the country, if you really feel this way.

  • NO. This is MY country. They can f&^%$ move out. I love the land, and my family and friends here. This country does not belong to the poloticians and big corporations. So many of you seem to act like it is though.

  • McCain you're such a sore loser....THANK GOD YOU DID NOT WIN!!!! Btw, Bush ordered the helicopters 4 yrs ago so don't act like President Obama wanted them. It's time for you to retire Johnny!!! Way to cross party lines to work together during this crisis......NOT! GOP= Grand Opposition Party

  • Nothing like stating the obvious.

  • first!!!

i was just watching this on CSPAN
