Plus core couldn't of made this after AOD they were crippled and broke up , only a tiny ammount of the team carried on in gaming. They now work for rebellion it was simply not possible for the team left to make this.

Core knew had to make realistic deaths lol... vs Crystals rag doll. Then again, most games do go by rag doll deaths and with the updated ESRB rating, they had to tone it down. but still, Crystal had done realistic animations such as this, the way Lara dies from spikes, running then falling flat on the ground, diving to the ground, SWAN DIVING (which is 10x more realistic and epic than Crystal's Anniversary) - like wow.

It's all Eido$ fault. This version was EVEN LIKED MORE THAN CD's, Core spent money on the new engine, while CD only used the Legends Current Gen engine! Everyone (incl. YouTube) have become cashcows. She was so much more baddass in the CORE versions. And that's the Lara we all came to know and love. Crystal's Lara is a bit too on the emotional side.

And for the record, I think Core would've done a waaaaaaaaay better job at Anniversary than Crystal. Crystal left out so many of the most memoralbe momnets on Anniversary. Anniversary is a good game,..... but I think Core would've done better.

Tomb Raider already was ruined, Nobody cared about Lara anymore including myself, The games were the same thing over and over again with just slightly better graphics. Thank god Crystal came in to save Lara and actually have the public respect her again. (And before you respond with your "Nobody respects her" comments thats just the stuburn classic fans, You all got 6 games to your liking, stop being selfish and let others enjoy Lara.

I respect what you say. I just miss the old Lara, and my fave Lara is from AOD, where they develop her emotion further, WITHOUT the "Lost my mommy" plot. I wouldn't have come back with No one respects her, because people do, Legend and Anni are great games by themselves, but I just can't see them as TR's.

I think they messed up her personality, she's not the godess I came to love in TR2.

She looks like she wants to break out crying because the tourguide was killed by wolves in Anni for example, in TR1 she just continues towards her goal.

what's wrong with new lara? it's not the same thing as it used to be, but they improved everything. core made 5(or 6?) sequels and the graphics and gameplay practically stayed the same, no improvements at all. only tr fans loved the games(including me :), but for everyone else they were unplayable, and every sequel got worse review than the previous one. the only thing i don't like about new lara is her face and voice because it doesn't look like her, but everything else is awesome.
